My brother was in this facility for three months with end stage dementia. While the building is old and not fancy, I found it to be clean, beginning with the parking lot. The staff were kind and compassionate. The people at the front desk were usually very cheerful and gave a warm welcome upon entering. The gentleman who worked there was especially kind! Whenever I visited my brother, he was clean and it was apparent they were doing everything possible to keep him safe. I never heard any of the staff complain and usually they responded to my requests. Working in a care facility such as this is not easy. People are quick to find fault. I was a resident at Northwest Healthcare Center for 4 weeks. While there I received therapy which was great they help me walk again. The GNAs were kind and respectful and did their job, however the Nurses were ok but can be better. I would return again if needed

Well, when I first got here, I had a rough time. I was really sick. But as time grew on, I got the hang of things. The staff here is beyond wonderful and will bend over backwards to try and help you get better! I can truly say this staff is more like an extended family. At all hours, the people really make the rehab a joyful experience. Activities are plentiful and intuitive. The Activities staff is tremendous at being resourceful and they know how to get the patients to interact. No one is left out.
