My brother was in this facility for three months with end stage dementia. While the building is old and not fancy, I found it to be clean, beginning with the parking lot. The staff were kind and compassionate. The people at the front desk were usually very cheerful and gave a warm welcome upon entering. The gentleman who worked there was especially kind! Whenever I visited my brother, he was clean and it was apparent they were doing everything possible to keep him safe. I never heard any of the staff complain and usually they responded to my requests. Working in a care facility such as this is not easy. People are quick to find fault. I was a resident at Northwest Healthcare Center for 4 weeks. While there I received therapy which was great they help me walk again. The GNAs were kind and respectful and did their job, however the Nurses were ok but can be better. I would return again if needed
Well, when I first got here, I had a rough time. I was really sick. But as time grew on, I got the hang of things. The staff here is beyond wonderful and will bend over backwards to try and help you get better! I can truly say this staff is more like an extended family. At all hours, the people really make the rehab a joyful experience. Activities are plentiful and intuitive. The Activities staff is tremendous at being resourceful and they know how to get the patients to interact. No one is left out. From there seasonal themes, to their Culinary Corner, Activities has you covered on keeping the day busy and enjoyable! PT(Physical Therapy) is a true joy to work with. They know what they can do to get the most out of you. They will have you even surprising yourself with what you are able to accomplish! The administration staff here is the cream of the crop! They do their absolute best to help in any way. So all in all, my experience here at this facility has been the best. The people here really make this place come alive! Everyone knows their position and everyone knows it well. The main thing I love is the interaction with the staff. It's great at all times! You always have someone who will LISTEN to your concerns and they are usually addressed quickly. Love my experience here and if I could, I would give them 20 stars! They are absolutely amazing in making the most out of what they have, and in my book that really says a lot about the people here!!
