A friend who saw my situation told me to go with Bethany at Laboratorie. I called, she heard my story and was very understanding and compassionate. She did absolute magic with my hair, even with the horrible short haircut I had (not an easy task, I swear) and ever since, I am her biggest fan.
I recommended her to many friends (because they love my hairstyle and they ask!) and I just can’t think about going somewhere else. She has magic hands, intelligent mind and compassionate eyes. I’m sure all the other hairdressers at Laboratorie must be amazing as well, but I just can talk about my experience with Bethany. She’s really the best.“

I moved to Baltimore two years ago and needed to find a new stylist. I wanted a salon I could walk to from my apartment, and it’s safe to say I got incredibly lucky when I stumbled upon Dandelion. The salon itself is calming, stylish, and chic, with a special warmth that’s created by Aubrey, Molly (and now Selina).

I always look forward to my appointments because I know I’m in for a treat. From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and a “how are ya.” Molly and Aubrey go above and beyond to make sure you’re cared for, whether that’s offering a snack, a drink (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), or a relaxing head massage at the bowl. Their customer service is 10/10.

Beyond the incredible atmosphere, Aubrey’s skill as a hairstylist is top-notch. She’s always open to trying whatever I have in mind and somehow makes it even better than I imagined. I always feel confident and cared for when I’m in her chair. And shoutout to Molly, who is always so friendly, welcoming, and just as talented as her BFF Aubrey. I love the conversations that circulate throughout the salon—I always leave with some kind of knowledge. (Did you know all Skittles taste the same? ?)

I spoke with the owner, Shelly, who was able to fit me in the next day for a color correction with the insanely talented KD. They truly went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable, reassuring, and educational. KD is not only a color wizard, but fantastic teacher as well! I came in with an uneven chop job and bad highlights, and left with a stunning multidimensional brunette shag. She greets me and we are always cracking up while she does me hair.or I’m sleeping and my head bobbing from side to side..(lol) I’m always satisfied with the outcome of my hair. When I called I spoke with Joe she explained to me that she couldn't give me a exact price but she could give me a starting price and that it goes up depending on my length and thickness and if they had to use a toner to get the blonde that i asked for .which was very helpful someplace start at 200 per hour for what i wanted.she was very knowledgeable and she got me in. Virginia works magic and is fantastic at what she does. The salon is very welcoming ,small mom & pop shop. Conversation was good,environment & work was great, it was exactly what i wanted . “Christian Holmes is simply the best stylist for curly hair that I've experienced. I've lived in NYC, Washington DC, and other cities, and Christian has given me my favorite haircuts that best fit my hair and my face shape. He cut my hair years ago, and when I moved back to Baltimore I searched for him and was delighted to find he opened his own studio. He spends time with you to understand what you want, and designs a cut based on what you want and what your unique curls do. I have soft, fine curls that tend to get weighed down with the wrong cut or with time. He added the perfect layers and cut and styled my hair in such a way that I came out with beautifully bouncy, alive curls. He also has a killer playlist and just a super friendly overall vibe. Highly recommend!“
