I struggled for several years with infertility and losses but with Dr. Cheng’s help and careful consideration to my specific condition we were finally able to stay pregnant and have our baby last month. Highly recommend!
I have been a patient of Dr. Shi's for almost 3 years and I can't say enough good things about him. Dr. Shi is kind, professional and very knowledgeable about a variety of ailments. Reading the one star review someone left in July disturbs me b/c it reminds me of nothing but sour grapes. If your insurance won't pay, the bill is your responsibility. WHY would anyone expect a doctor to provide a receipt for services that haven't been paid??? Also, to accuse him of racial profiling is not only absurd, it's DEFAMATORY. Dr. Shi has been nothing but genuine and fair to me. I'm half African American and have NEVER felt mistreated by him. Ever. And anyone doubting the validity of my review can feel free to read the Google review I left for him a year ago under the name Angela McLennan. I also posted a review on his Columbia location on Yelp a year ago. My experience with this practitioner is legit. He is wonderful. Hands down!
Highly recommended. I've known Dr. Cheng for a few years now. I am a chronic pain patient with an underlying neurological disease and spinal fusions/decompression. I have sought care with a few other providers over the course of the past few years - both abroad (lived outside the U.S.) and here on the east coast. Dr. Cheng is the only physician who was able to help me. He is thorough and takes an account of your status at each visit. He explains the treatment and also listens to your thoughts/input. It took much time because my condition was pretty bad having maxed out my pain/CNS system, but I'm doing much better now after a few months of consistent treatment. I've recommended Dr. Cheng to a few of my friends/colleagues, too. I like the fact that he doesn't push you with the treatment - he does what he thinks will be the most effective but listens to the patient as he's treating. I've felt both comfortable and confident in him and the treatment plan. He has another location in Columbia - I've been seen at both locations and they are comparable.
