I was so nervous at the start because my dog is under 5lbs but the staff was knowledgeable and informative. They took care of her as if she were their own. “Really professional and easy process. Kept me in the loop while my 5lb dog was spayed, which helped ease my anxiety. I dropped her off at 7:30am and was out the door with her by noon. They provide really clear and attentive post-op instructions, and she’s healed really nicely since the operation.

I was able to get an appointment within two weeks, and was happy with the price after being quoted $1200+ in NoVa. Great experience all around and would recommend to others.“

“The team at ADC is fantastic. While we didn't go in for a happy reason (advanced oral cancer consult), the team was kind and compassionate from making the appointment through the day of. Dr. Buchanan is an angel - we are trying to stick with her only because my geriatric kitty (17.5yo) is starting to show signs of his age and we need that continuity of care now. But prior to this I have been willing to see any doctor. Again, we have been coming here for almost 40 years I've never had a doc i didn't like or didn't trust.

“Alpha Vet Center is the best! We have a Jindo rescued from a Korean dog meat farm. Because of his past, he is very shy and terrified of people, through no fault of his own. The doctors suggested a combo of meds that would relax our dog, and we gave them to him before our appointment. Our vet visit was the most positive experience ever! Dr. Burton and techs were wonderful and very gentle with him. They made our dog feel at ease and comfortable. He even took treats from them which he has never done with strangers. The exam was a success, and we are very pleased. As a former vet receptionist and retired groomer, I cannot say enough good things about this practice. “The entire staff at Alexander Animal Hospital is amazing. The care is exceptional. They listen to pet owners’/parents’ concerns and advocate for the well being of the pet. One of our frenchies was having some major issues with a skin infection vs focal seizures. They have been trialing different things, and helping the situation since it occurred. I called and asked if they could do something else to possibly help. They listened, got us in the next day, and pretty sure fixed the issue. It’s very easy to get an appointment, and they are reasonably priced, unlike other vets around town. I highly recommend Alexander Animal Hospital.“
