I’ve had back issues for most of my adult life and constant pain for the last four years. Other doctors would not even discuss surgery because of my age (I’m only 44). Dr. Sullivan and his team listened to me and were willing to explore multiple treatment options. I’m now 3 months out from surgery and I feel like I’m getting my life back. I just have to say that this office and Dr. Sullivan are amazing! I needed a microdiscectomy L5/S1 due to a herniated disc pressing on my S1 nerve, I was having excruciating nerve pain and numbness in my left leg. At first, they recommended an epidural steroid injection which unfortunately did not work but I was appreciative of their initial conservative approach. After that it was determined that surgery was the next and only option for me. During the surgery consult Dr. Sullivan was very thorough and explained the risks and complications of the procedure. Office mislead information about insurance and I incurred additional medical expenses. Advice to consumer to be wary of pain management as it can ring up your bill. I reacted to one RX and to me that is waste of money. Physician assistants are ok.
