The Downtown Annapolis Partnership works with business owners, residents, government and others to make living and working in downtown Annapolis even better. When you see all the flower baskets hanging in downtown during the summer and the holiday decorations in the winter you are seeing the effects of everyone working together. We also bring you events like Midnight Madness Annapolis Restaurant Week and Small Business Saturday. I was in Annapolis with friends. It was probably the hottest day of this summer. But, the personnel in all of the stores we entered for shade and cool air were very friendly and welcomed us nicely. The city looks as lovely and colonial as ever. The US Naval Academy was gorgeous to see as we drove in and out of it. Annapolis rocks! We will be back in the fall.
Spent the evening strolling along the water and streets lined with restaurants and boutiques. Choose a spot for dinner, then take your pick from a number of ice cream shops and enjoy the evening. Lots of live music at different restaurants and bars.
It's a wonderful place to just hang out while shopping, eating, or just admiring the beautiful bay. Most people are absolutely friendly and sweet, but if they aren't, still give em a smile to cheer them up! I recommend going with friends or family during or near holidays, as there is always exciting attractions! Love it here
