I removed 2 trees last month. Amor provided quality and professional services from the site visit for estimate (best pricing than others), to safe and efficient removal of trees, dump the roots and clean, to the bill. Everything is excellent and smooth. They even trimmed another tree extra for me for free. They are reliable and good at their work.
Shadow creek has been looking after our yard upkeep and landscaping for several years. In that time they have created two feature beds of river stone base, where some large flower pots will reside come spring. As well, Craig undertook to re set our patio bricks to correct some serious settling, and now it looks like new.
Best of all, we now have three beautiful raised garden boxes, designed, built, and installed last year. These boxes were the best thing ever, according to the gardener of the house, and no more bending over. Thanks Craig and Shadow Creek Landscaping for a job well done. By the way, he also does snow clearing too.

Stylist: Anastasia was our stylist and not only was she the sweetest, she listened exactly to what we wanted and gave us the perfect results we were looking for. She went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of, by fitting us in at the same time and bouncing back and forth between foils, toner and cuts. She even took an extra 10 minutes to cut my son's hair (1.5 year) when she hardly had any time to spare. She truly is the blonde queen as Ayo recommended to us. I hate getting my hair cut, Either the hair is not to my liking or its an awkward interaction. Not this time however!Caleb was super friendly as soon as I walked in for my appointment, He asked me what I was looking to get done.I mentioned I don't have a specific hair cut I go for but I don't like it super short and I also don't like it super long.Caleb also asked me if I am high maintenance with my hair or low maintenance to which I said low maintenance.Caleb was able to take everything into consideration and give me a hair cut based on all the information he was given, it was a nice length and I was told as it grows it will naturally shape and will be very low maintenance.A few weeks later and he was correct, my hair is super low maintenance and its almost a perfect length.Caleb deserves a raise for sure! Will 100% try to book with him next time I need a hair cut.

Hands down the best Barber in Winnipeg. Joe has cut my hair for 33 years now and I still have both my ears. He always has the best music playing and his receptionist is super cute too. He knowledge of the Jets and Bombers is off the charts. So if you donât have Joe cut your hair , everyday is a going to be a bad hair day.

I got my first spray tan with Shawna and she was awesome! I loved her approach and she made me feel so comfortable being so exposed (literally). I called today hoping I could get in as all salons in the area were booked up, i was told I could come right in, it being very close to my house I was there within 10 minutes. I was kindly greeted and I showed my design, my nails needed a bad refill after 5 weeks and 3 missing nails, Trixie did an phenomenal job, of giving me exactly what I wanted, Iâve never had an experience where I was asked multiple time how I like them or if I wanted to change anything. For the first time I was able to critique my nails, exactly how I wanted to in a comfortable environment. The room was clean and very relaxing, the chairs are very comfortable. On a very hot day like today it was cool throughout the salon.

Of all the nail salons I've visited, Lyn's is by far my absolute favorite. She is incredibly meticulous with cuticle care and very detail-oriented in her work. Besides that, she's kind, personable, and always ensures the quality of her work is top-notch. I never feel rushed during my visits. It's a small business with only two employees, but having a skilled nail technician like Lyn is worth more to me than any other option.

I had an amazing lash lift and tint with Mandy. She did such an amazing job giving my lashes a perfect curl - not to mention her attention to detail was exceptional. Iâve had bad experiences in the past at other providers where my lashes were damaged or didnât lift at all - this was the opposite and I canât stress how great the end result is! I also had a brow lami and tint which turned out perfect as well. Her work space is also very comfortable and cute. Highly recommend seeing her for all your lash and brow needs :)

I had the absolute pleasure of having Sharday at Hairlogy take care of my hair, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment I sat in her chair, she was incredibly sweet and attentive. I came in for my first curl cut with some apprehension, especially as an Indian who was always told that my hair was frizzy, damaged, and needed to be straightened. Sharday, however, completely changed my perspective. She reassured me that my hair wasnât as damaged as I thought and explained that I didn't need a cabinet full of productsâjust two essentials were enough!

I've been going to Dermagraphics for years and never had a bad experience, Angela is total pro and such a lovely person as well! She's super patient and detail oriented, has quite an excellent array of skills and her great conversation helps the time pass surprisingly quick and as pain-free as possible. Best of all, her treatments are accessible and won't break the bank as all her services are very reasonable considering her years of experience.
Affordable and you can see results in just couple of sessions, I saw the difference on the second session already. I did the underarm and upperlip and the results are great! I highly recommend. Rafia was really accommodating and friendly.
I spent years of time and thousands of dollars trying laser hair removal with no success. I felt I had no choice but to try electrolysis. After having my first consult with Marcia it was clear that she was results driven- and I was wanting results. She spent the time to educate me on the difference between laser vs. electrolysis, but was transparent that it would not be fast, and it would not be cheap. She even encouraged me to have consults with other electrologists and wait before starting to allow for a more effective first treatment. It was clear she was not driven by money, which set her apart from many others in the field.
Marcia will take you on as a client if she feels your goal is realistic and she can get you the results you are after. She accomplishes this through a very specific treatment plan. Throughout my sessions Marcia made sure to take progress photos and educate me on hair growth cycles so that I remained confident that lasting progress was being made.
Despite a very negative experience with laser, I never lost confidence in Marcia because she is honest, professional, and very knowledgeable. She is aware of advancements in her field and is client centered with her schedule, high quality equipment, and ability to seamlessly distract her client from an uncomfortable process with humour and good conversation.
Electrolysis is not cheap and it is not painless, but if you follow her plan you will get the results you desire- permanently.

Mariia was my skin tech and she did a wonderful job assessing my skin. Recommended many products to help treat my peri-oral dermatitis though I did not purchase any as I am working with a dermatologist and only using doctor-prescribed products for now. But she added items to my file for future when I am ready to add other skincare to my routine. The whole experience was very nice. I was able to hang out in the ten spa lounge and have a snack prior to treatment and the ambiance is very nice.

TL:DR: - I got the best gel manicure from this place in my entire life - Staff changing the appointment time five times, including while I was heading over to the spa, was a major turnoff In June, I bought a Groupon for a gel manicure from Ageless Spa & Boutique. I couldn't tell you when I last got a manicure. It has been years. I typically do my own nails every Sunday because I find it relaxing and therapeutic. It's also a huge savings. I decided to splurge. I bought the Groupon and called in late June to book an appointment. I got a woman on the other end. I asked if I could get an appointment after July 1st. I got July 5th at noon, which was a Friday. I was okay with the time, as I had a Blue Bombers game at night. She assumed that I was local by asking for my 204 phone number for the appointment. Nope. I'm 416. I got a call on Tuesday, July 2, from a man at this place. He asked whether I could do 11:45 am. I was fine with the change. I wanted an earlier time anyway. I got a call from a woman from this spa almost two hours later. She asked whether someone had called me to change my time to an earlier one. Yes, but don't you guys communicate with each other? Shouldn't this change be on your end and noted in your system rather than interrupting me driving through a downpour in which I can barely hear you? Weird. On Thursday, I got another call from the same woman. She wanted to bump up the time to 11:30 am. I was okay with it. I was extremely accommodating. On Friday, I was getting ready to leave for my appointment, which takes thirty minutes to get to from where I was staying. She called me while I was away from my phone to ask if I can come earlier. I didn't respond, as I had to head out the door. While I was driving, roughly eighteen minutes away from the spa, she called me, asking if I could come in early. I had had it. I asked her why there were so many time changes. She couldn't respond. I let her know that my appointment time has changed multiple times and I haven't even had anything done to my nails. I let her know that my time of arrival was exactly at 11:30 am and that her short notice was not enough time for me to magically whisk myself over to the spa. I needed far more notice than less than an hour before my appointment. Sheesh! She may think that she was being helpful by saying that she's free earlier. She wasn't. It was a huge drag to get almost a daily time change the week of my appointment. I arrived at the spa. There is parking behind the building. There is a single spot for an Ageless Spa customer. I backed intoit. There is a backdoor from the parking lot. I couldn't go through it. It was locked. I went around to the front. It's a two-floor building with a basement. This spa is straight ahead on the main floor. The woman who had called me was waiting for me at the door. She was efficient. This Groupon did not include taxes, so I paid for them right off the bat. I then sat down at one of the manicure stations. I got to select the colour of my gel manicure. I chose wisteria haze, which was a pretty lavender colour. She prepped my nails. I then had to wash my hands in the washroom and return to the manicure area. She then diligently and carefully went through painting my nails and curing them. I felt relaxed and happy. I got a mini massage at the end with lavender oil. It was heavenly. She was great. I loved my nails and let her know that she did a wonderful job. I just wished that she didn't have this weirdness with moving up my appointment time. Otherwise, this place would have got a perfect rating from me. This gel manicure was the best one that I ever had. It didn't chip. I normally take it off after three weeks. I let things run their course naturally and finally removed the gel polish after six weeks. I would definitely return to get another gel manicure from this place. The quality and shine are amazing. It's the multiple time changes to my appointment that irked me. (322)

Iâve been going there for many years to the point I feel like family. The staff are friendly, fun, down to earth and non-judgmental. My hairdresser is fantastic obviously and Iâve never had a problem. I get hair colour, cut and styles. Also had wedding hair done and many many pedicures over the years. I always feel happy and beautiful when I leave. I canât recommend them enough.
Despite the negative comments locals may make about this men's sauna being filled with old creeps, most of the time I find there are more fit, younger men here than not. It's a relaxing time with birds-of-a-feather. If you are holding on to an outdated and inaccurate stereotype, you are missing out. Fridays and Saturdays are the most popular nights. Unfortunately, Monday to Wednesday is co-ed.

A few of us spur of the moment decided to get a tattoo during our family vacation. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and awesome everyone was at the shop. I just spent two full days getting a tattoo here. It was a great experience. First off It is exceptionally clean. The front counter staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness: I always say if you want to see how management cares about their customers, check their washrooms first. They were extremely clean. The waiting area and the tattoo room was exceptionally clean.
Stylist: My artist was Vlady. He was great to work with. He took his time with me designing my tattoo. He gave me a lot of suggestions and showed me what the tattoo would look like using an iPad. It made making decisions a lot easier. My tattoo is a realistic black and grey design and the detail is amazing. Vlady took the time to make sure I got a great tattoo. I would highly recommend him.

Returned from trip to find toilette slow leak had stained floor. Thought I'd try Shorty's. Was very pleased with both dispatcher and Erik the service chap was very accomodating in going to another job to allow me to pop out to buy a new toilette (thought water intake line was the problem but Erik spotted cracked porcelain tank as the issue) then when he finished the other job, he efficiently installed the new toilette and a new shut-off valve. In short, Shorty's came through on short notice.

This is the 3rd time I've used Red Alert, but the 1st time for the laundry room. I had a clogged laundry/kitchen line. It was the weekend and I decided it was worth the extra $50 to get it done now. Ian was here in 20 minutes. From the time of my call to a cleaned line was exactly 1 hour. The laundry sink has never drained so well. There was even a 10% discount for seniors. Price-Service-Quality. They say you can't get all 3 but these guys seem to be the exception.

I recently had my old electrical panel upgraded to a 200amp. I got a few quotes and chose Skyes electric because of their professionalism and fair quote. They showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. they accomplished a very clean looking install and everything was straight forward. I had never met Bill, however he came highly recommended by me late husband, whom also was an electrician.
Where I Live now I was unable to get house insurance until the electrical was inspected as it turned out. The wiring throughout the house required upgrading Bill new that I was on a timeline and within a very short period of time the quote was done the permit was polled and the work performed and the work was signed off by the city of Winnipeg without any concerns at any point.

We have had our Vacuflo for many years. In the last few years, I had noticed that it was losing its suction. I called Vacuflo for assistance. Jefferson took my call and asked me: When was the last time you cleaned your filter? To which I responded: What filter!! Jefferson sent me a link to a video on how to do it. Our association with Handy Hands began in 2009 when they added insulation to the attic and knee walls and then replaced the shingles, facia and soffits on our house and garage. Over the years since that date they have completed: new siding on the house and garage, full gut and update of the kitchen, bathroom, den and master bedroom. In our yard they erected a shed, repaired the gazebo and built a made to measure raised garden. For all of these jobs they were superb. They displayed excellent workmanship, courtesy and professionalism. For the first job, we got 3 quotes and although theirs was not the lowest theirs was the most complete which eliminated the unexpected comments such as "this will cost extra" Now we just call them when ever we need work done because we know their quotes are fair and reasonable and we know that we can depend on them!

Rainwater was entering my basement from around a coal chute door. Regular caulking wasnât working. I contacted Belvidere Construction; their crew just finished at my home. They waterproofed the foundation wall and around the coal chute, and installed a window well close to the house. Itâs such a relief that water isnât coming in, their finished work looks really nice and professional, and my general handyman of many years is very impressed with their work. In looking for an exterminator to inspect a property my boyfriend and I are looking to rent, we called several pest services in hopes of getting someone qualified as soon as possible. We had been left hanging by the other exterminators we called (based off their great reviews) who dropped all communication when they heard we likely only needed an inspection for mice. Luckily we heard a few great reviews about Marcus from Active Pest Control. We were able to get an inspection much sooner and at a fraction of the cost the other companies quoted.Marcus was friendly, incredibly knowledgable and thorough, and addressed all of our many questions and concerns. He was very professional, and helped identify current and future vulnerabilities, what we could do to fix them, recommended products, and educated us on mouse behaviours, patterns, and prevention. Overall, we felt he went above and beyond for the inspection, and that we received fair, honest, quality help that was not dependent on purchasing additional extermination services. On July 31, 2024, I noticed a wasp nest in my shed. I debated trying to get rid of it myself but decided it was too large and active for me to try to do. The work they completed at our neighbourâs was just stunning and they were completely happy with the entire process.Tyler was very helpful and patient and completed three different quotes for us, varying cost and work to be done. We were also having fencing and sod installed so the project was planned for September.The team installed an impressive sidewalk with Barkman pavers (two colours) using polymer sand, a magical product! They also levelled and compacted an area in preparation for us to put down river rock (ourselves). Shadow creek has been looking after our yard upkeep and landscaping for several years. In that time they have created two feature beds of river stone base, where some large flower pots will reside come spring. As well, Craig undertook to re set our patio bricks to correct some serious settling, and now it looks like new.
Best of all, we now have three beautiful raised garden boxes, designed, built, and installed last year. These boxes were the best thing ever, according to the gardener of the house, and no more bending over. Thanks Craig and Shadow Creek Landscaping for a job well done. By the way, he also does snow clearing too.

In 2022, we hired Lawn'N'Order to do a complete landscape (including hardscape) on our property & new build in La Salle. We contacted them in June and after the design completion, they started in September and ended late Oct. The extensive work included both front and back yards. Many trees, shrubs, rocks, patio stones, and grass. They also arranged the inground sprinkler system with Greenlawn.
Communication -
Communication has been very good. Jeff and Brian are great to deal with and genuinely care about their customers and crew. They respond quickly and keep in contact with us to ensure that plantings are still proceeding well.
Design -
Calvin created the design through our vision, and the end result is stunning.
Crew -
All crews were very pleasant and worked hard to keep the project moving.
Quality of work -
The crew, design and company produces a good quality of work. Their team works well together and it shows in the end result.
Price -
Our property is large, approx 100ft wide by 200ft front to back.
Given the high cost to install landscaping/hardscaping, we feel that it was kept at a reasonable amount within our budget.
There are things that were a concern to us. As a first time customer hiring a landscaper, we don't have a comparison but believe that there is room for improvement.
Product Quality-
The quality of the products was fair. Possibly from a late season install. The sod initially put down was poor and moldy. The sod (as well as the trees) sat for too long (weeks) on the pallets and therefore struggled from the beginning. We did what we could to help it establish, but it was too close to the cold season (end Oct). We continue work with all the plantings & sod but it is a struggle at times.
Several of our trees & shrubs did not survive the first year. This required replacing 3 large blue spruce in back, the large Scotch Pine in front and one shrub in back. Although the products are under warranty, the labour and equipment/travel are not and we paid thousands to replace.
I expect this is common across all landscaping companies and nurseries, but it definitely needs to be considered in your overall budget.
As of 2024, we have lost 3 smaller trees (which we decided will not be replaced) and the replacement front tree which will cost us the install again. This is very disheartening but feel it is necessary.
Delays on install -
Additionally, the crews changed a couple of times which created duplicate work on the hardscape. Although this ensured it was properly completed, we feel it added to the delay of the project.
Overall, we are happy with the design and end result. The company is very professional, easy to work with and they acknowledge our concerns with compassion and understanding. With this important fact, we would recommend Lawn âNâ Order for your project.
John and his team are top notch. They always get things done when he says, with quality top of mind. I highly recommend them for any landscaping needs!

I normally do not do reviews, but in this case feel compelled to do so because Penner Trees is just so good. I had a number of quotes some of which were ridiculously high and in my opinion were not offering as complete a service as I got with Penners. I had a large BAss tree in my backyard that was damaged in a storm and needed urgent attention. If left unattended there was a risk the Crown of the tree was going to land on my roof or my neighbour's. Eddy and Gelle priorized the job and came out and took care of if it quickly, thoroughly and with no property damage whatsoever. They also had a great clean-up crew that meant that they did all the work in one day. Their price was more than fair and they are very qualified for handling the big trees, the tall trees and ones in hard to get at locations.
I removed 2 trees last month. Amor provided quality and professional services from the site visit for estimate (best pricing than others), to safe and efficient removal of trees, dump the roots and clean, to the bill. Everything is excellent and smooth. They even trimmed another tree extra for me for free. They are reliable and good at their work.

First, I think its worth to mentioning that I visited 2 other chiropractor offices prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Richard Ledda. These other offices were convenient as it was close to home, but it wasnât the right fit.
A colleague recommended Dr. Leddaâs office since they have been seeing him for 2-years and always has been happy with their care. Conveniently, his office was 5 minutes from work. Life happens, I changed employers and Dr. Richard takes over Family First Chiropractic & Wellness Centre and is now a 35-minute drive away.
My point is, Dr. Richard is worth visiting even with these high gas prices. Dr. Richard is professional, listens to his patients, and is full of wisdom. The only weird thing about him is he smiles a lot â like too much. I've been a patient of Mr. Smiley for 4-years now and ongoing. To be honest, youâre probably better off seeing Dr. Lyndsay Ledda, his wife, sheâs probably the better one.

The staff are amazing and very friendly! You feel like family. For the first time I found out there is no more aligning and cracking of the back in the Markham Chiropractic Centre. To Dr. Kevin it all has to do with the nerves. I didn't believe at first but believe now! They are #1 in my books and there is way less wear and tear on my back. As you get older your bones get brittle and wear a lot quicker but when the back is not tweaked by manipulation the bones suffer way less wear and tear! I go to Healthview for both Massage Therapy with Emily and Physio with Nick. Both are the best experiences I've had to date. I've seen such improvement and relief from going here. Nick has the most comprehensive and thorough approach to physio and is super knowledgeable. The shockwave machine being available is an added bonus. Yes there is a fee, but equipment is expensive folks and it's super effective and worth it! The reception and staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I'm so glad I found this place. It's been a game changer for me.
This Chiro technique is a game changer. It is so much more effective than any of the other treatments I have ever received. I have has Sciatic pain for over 12 years. It isn't completely gone, but I do feel the best I have since I first hurt my back.

I have used 2 of the emergency after hours vets in WPG and had very bad experiences at both, one of those was quite tragic and definitely would not trust them with the health and safety of my pet again.
We had 2 cats that have visited this vet on and off for 7 years. Most recently they cared for our cat with heart disease and previously they treated him for 2 uti's that were really bad. Their care and information helped us get through some tough decisions with him but their kindness and patient/owner support is above and beyond what we expected.
Dr Greene now also sees our 2nd boy, as he's been hiding some teeth issues that were recently taken care of, we very much appreciate their constant updates and contact during their procedures when they have our pets.

We have loved Bridgewater and feel our girl got the up most care. Although we did spend an arm and a leg our case was an emergency and at the end of the day with the care we got I would spend the extra $ any day. Our girl came in for what we/our other vet thought was some extreme back/hip pain⊠I have never seen such an all over, in depth exam I was so impressed with the immediate care we received. Ultimately we decided to do the full 9 yards and get all the tests and x-Rays with all coming back clear they assumed it was something neurological, no where in Winnipeg has a dog MRI but they offered us a referral to Sask or Minnesota. With not being able to drop everything and travel we declined but there was no judgment from the team and we proceeded with what treatment we could. I love bridgewater because of all the Vets they have, I feel as though our girl got the best care options because they were able to bounce ideas off each other and come up with plan. She ended up staying two nights and 3 days total and NEVER did I feel that she was neglected or left. Everyone always showed her love and cheered when she had improvements - that was the most heartwarming feeling and truly shows everyone cared. You have the option to come visit, call or email when your pet is there, we loved the constant contact. Our girl is home and on the mend but no matter which way this could have gone, I would feel the same towards Bridgewater and their efforts as a team, they truly deserve the world and we are thankful for them!

I was present for the interaction between him and the studio owner Samantha Globerman. She did not yell, threaten or use any racial slurs. She was firm about studio policies and professional at all times. His comments are defamatory and utterly false. It is deeply disappointing to see someone like Sam dragged through the mud.Sam, you have a created a beautiful yoga community at your studio. It's inclusive, non-judgemental and accessible to all. I am grateful for all the offerings, fantastic teachers and lifelong friendships. I have taken teacher training there as well many workshops and classes. I used to believe that HRT is the only treatment for menopause and without it, symptoms would get worse. For 4 years i tried hrt, with multiple doctors, all while being told to deny my lived experience, that i had no other options, and that i wasn't trying hard enough. With Dr Lu lui , i had the most phenomenal change. In weeks, i improved in every aspect. Intensity and duration of hot spells are minimal now, exhaustion is gone, incontinence is gone, forgetfulness is gone, absolutely no bone pain, zero cravings, and a consistent neutral/positive mood.
She even fixed things i didn't tell her about, like lower back pain and anemia.

Amazing wellness clinic. It is not the coziest but definitely a clean space for wellness with excellent therapist. As you enter, you have to change your shoes for indoor footwear to maintain their cleanliness. Washroom was clean too. I had Ming as my massage therapist and his expertise was fantastic. I prefer deep tissue massage and it soothes and helps my backpain. He massaged my whole body and it feels like I'm rested for a week! I also tried acupuncture with the female therapist and works great. Her hands were light and haven't complain with needles. Incomparable to the acupuncture I had somewhere. The receptionist knows how to value their client. Very accomodating.
Girls always take care of themselves by going to see people like Jasmine, but rarely men. I wanted to treat myself too.
Going to see Jasmine was one of the best health decisions I have made for myself. I had read about the benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy, but was really uneasy to take the plunge. After my initial visit, and subsequent procedure I am sold! I have been back again and for more than just colonic: lymphatic massage, sauna, cold therapy and more to come. I appreciate that Jasmine focuses on healing the whole, not just symptoms. She is extremely knowledgeable and can recommend supplements that can help you detox, or assist with whatever ails you.
Guys: gotta admit, Colon Hydrotherapy is not the most pleasant while it is going on, but the results after are amazing. I still was junked up with 40 years of crap (no pun intended) after my first session. After my second, I feel 10 lbs lighter. This will now be a part of my health care routine as I gracefully age into George Clooney.

It has been two years since I had acupuncture and massage treatments there. I moved out of Manitoba after my last appointment. Dr. Bai is still hands down the best doctor so far. Sheâs patient, friendly, knowledgeable and kind, most importantly, she had fixed my neck problems.
Also, she never rushed me to pay at that time, instead, she let me figure out my insurance later on, and did the therapy FIRST.
Today I thought of her, and I want to say thank you Dr. Bai, wanna have her appointment again one day Iâm back.
