Dusty did an amazing job of our custom kitchen. He is very meticulous and pays great attention to detail. He takes so much pride in his work and it shows! We had him back to do our mudroom nook with bench seat/drawer and shelf a few months later, and once again he did not disappoint. We would highly recommend Dusty Woodworks! He does beautiful, quality work.

About a week or so ago I had 5 really tall old evergreen trees taken down by GonTree in our back yard. I was really impressed with John and his crew. Friendly and down to earth. Started around 9 ish and done by 1:30 or so. Left the yard nice a tidy. Well done John

WINMAR is an incredible company! Candace and her team works fast, and efficiently! They are so friendly, personable, and will go the extra mile to make sure the job is done correctly. I have never felt more taken care of by a company in my own home. The one and only complaint that I would have is they don’t take credit cards! A company getting this big in Manitoba, I was absolutely shocked they don’t accept credit payment. Other than that,Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Jenna B. She gave me my first haircut since before Covid, and I love it so much. It wasn’t just a small 2 inch cut, it was like 5-6 inch cut and it looks insane! She walked me through everything she was doing and made an hour haircut go by like nothing! She made some great suggestions but never pushed me to purchase extra stuff that I personally didn’t really want. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience and again I love my hair.

I’ve been to quite a few salons but no other compares to oak + ivy. Today was my first time coming here and I had Emily as my hair stylist and she did an outstanding job. Before my appointment here I had been to a couple salons over the last 6 months and always hoped for the same type of style and cut that I got back in August and didn’t quite get the same results as I had hoped. I almost don’t want to write this as she books up quickly enough as it is haha, but Megan is an amazingly talented lady! She takes her time and my lashes end up looking exactly the way I like them (I go for the classic type, and like the long and wispy look). I also love that she does the podcast thing and I don’t feel pressured to converse (seriously, whenever that happens when I get my lashes done, I end up falling asleep and speaking gibberish hahaha). Anyway. Never thought I’d get my best lashes ever in Brandon, Manitoba, but here we are.

Very quick response to my inquiry regarding needing a new water heater. I was provided with a range of options and the pros and cons of each one to make my decision before purchase and installation. The installation itself was then done fairly quickly with as little fuss and bother as possible. I certainly have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.
In the summer I had sinks installed in my kitchen and bathroom. I had a few questions re: siligranite sink installation and Jay was able to make adjustments to my kitchen sin install. Outlet sparked, and power went off in living room. Called Brandon Avenue Electric, one of their electricians quickly replaced the outlet, and showed me how to restore power in the living room. What I thought would take a weekend, took maybe an hour at most once they arrived. Would recommend!

We have used this company a number of times. First for a renovation and countless times since as we make adjustments to other area's of the house. They are quick to come, respectful clean and skilled. They send the same person back each time so they know us and the house. We even had them come one time to run an extra plug in and he came the next day and it took a very short time and he was done. Huge value when you use this company.

Our washing machine wasn't draining the water properly and would leak water out the side of it (so we thought). We called Ron's appliance and they sent a tech over a few days later to look at it. The tech found a faulty water level switch so they ordered one in for us. It took a month for it to get here but once it arrived they installed it.The install of the part was on a Friday. By that Sunday, the washer was still not draining and water was leaking just as before.The tech came back a few days later and discovered that the tub seal was leaking. After this diagnosis he said they would have to check if any replacement parts were available.After the tech left we were disappointed in spending money on the washer to only find it had more problems. We decided to buy a new one so we wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.We just recieved a call from Ron's appliance today to follow up with the repair. They were very understanding of our frustration and we came to an agreement over the phone which they honored.Even though our result wasn't what we were hoping, dealing with Ron's Appliance was very pleasant.We would highly recommend them for appliance repair. We will be using them in the future.
