I never post reviews but I feel I need to tell everyone this was the WORST hair salon I ever been at. I wanted to lighten my hair and I am a brown red color. She thought I wanted bleach blonde… she bleach my hair so bad that it was highlighter yellow and I have burn marks all over my scalp. She knew I was not happy and she asked for $100 cash or check only….I went to another salon the next day to fix my hair and the hairdresser was horrified how bad my scalp was and my hair. I would never do a review like this but I felt I needed to let the public know how BAD this salon is.

Last week I had a fantastic haircut at North side Hair in Yarmouth Port. This is my second time going there and I really enjoyed everything about it. It is a small shop but Trish is so friendly and is a great stylist. My sister will be visiting from out of state and I've already made her an appt. She got a haircut there last time she visited and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend Northside Hair for your next haircut and styling!!

Patti Sowpel, owner of Northside Salon has been at this location 22 years. Patty is accommodating with one's schedule... even last minute emergencies. She is a great listener... which results in leaving the salon with what you went in for. Precision cuts, classic coloring and reasonable rates.
