I've used her for regularly walking my 60-pound pit mix for almost two years now, and my daughter and a neighbor to me had her service for years before that. She ensures that at the end of every in-home visit a "Visit Card" is completed by the walker and left for the owner which details what transpired (pee, p**** treats, fresh water, package brought inside etc etc) along with a written comment about how things went. Every single time! She has faithful, long-term walkers who are all friendly, mature, responsible, energetic and genuine dog lovers. I shared a house code with Karen from the beginning to give the walkers access and have zero trust issues or problems during that time. The door has never been left unlocked. Karen is 100% reliable - has never cancelled on me or been late. She is quick to respond to emails and text messages and provides an actual invoice by email every week (which I pay via Venmo). “I agreed to foster a rescue, Ollie, not knowing what I was getting into. Here was a young dog that clearly was loving and had boundless energy, but had reverted to his worst self. Although we don’t know Ollie’s troubled history, he was quickly overly attached to me. He was aggressively guarding me, attacking other dogs and people and totally unsocialized and dragging me on leash. He was cunningly intelligent, trying to escape and chase cars, at every opportunity, basically unmanageable for me. I was faced with the fact that with six prior foster homes, he would likely be put down. David unpacked his lack of socialization with lots of pack-time with other dogs. He guided him to understand the basic behaviors expected and trained me how to assert my leading him as his owner. I was not a quick student. Frankly, I was awkward and insecure and over-loved Ollie. David pushed me to consistently command and become natural in doing so, and within two weeks I took home literally a different dog. I was changed. Ollie and I can now go on long walks off leash without any fear that Ollie will attack every dog we meet, as he did before. He wont drag me on leash. He is friendly, playful and obedient. He is a joy to be with. I cannot thank David enough for giving me the gift of a loving companion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart !
