About Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic
Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic offers a blend of exceptional and disappointing experiences. The clinic's doctors are recognized for their compassion and ability to work with clients' budgets, which is especially important for those facing financial challenges. One reviewer, a single mom, expressed gratitude for the clinic's affordable services, noting that they managed to get their cat's vaccinations and neutering done in one day for a fraction of the cost compared to other vets. The vet who attended to their cat was described as super kind and knowledgeable, providing optimal care and even identifying fleas that needed treatment. While the staff has received some criticism for being rude and unaccommodating, many reviews highlight their empathy and willingness to help clients navigate financial struggles. Another reviewer mentioned that the clinic had been supportive through various situations, from routine vaccinations to more serious issues like amputations and end-of-life decisions. The clinic is appreciated for its thorough care, although some customers noted the need for advance planning as appointments are scheduled only one day a month. Emailing the clinic is recommended for quicker responses. Overall, the clinic's commitment to patient care and budget-friendly services is valued, but there are still areas for improvement. Many customers express satisfaction with the care their pets have received and recommend the clinic to others who qualify for its services.
We went here for my cats vaccines and wanted him neutered as well. They were able to get everything done in one day for waaayy less than the price it would been in another vet. Mind you we called everywhere for pricing, as we didn't have much of a budget as a single mom and everything being so expensive, and we are so grateful for this place! The vet who attended my cat 'Pebbles' was super kind and knowledgeable. He went home with all the needed meds and everything. We even found out he had fleas we would've never noticed unless they told us and they treated him for that as well. He got optimal care here and I would recommend this place to anyone! They are always super kind and friendly and knowledgeable. Theyve been there through our ups and downs from simple routines like physicals, vaccinations, rabies shots, to amputations and unfortunately even putting my dads cat down. They show empathy and work with you and help you come up with solutions and help you figure out a game plan if you need services but are facing financial struggles. Ive always had a pleasant visit and I always reccommend them to anyone I know who qualifies for their services. I believe you have to have a food stamp card or a WIC card, im not positive so be sure to double check.
They are very thorough in the care each animal receives. Cost is dependent on what needs the specific animal has.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the care my 3 have gotten in the last several years. You must be able to plan ahead for appointment scheduling, They book on the phone, on only one day a month. I highly recommend emailing as that seems to get a much faster reply.
