Marcelle does great work at a fair price! I can speak to most of the salon's services since I only get my hair cut and don't need the range of services offered, but I'm happy with the results!
We provide our 110 percent attention to our clients, with the best products, color, permanent straighteners, color correction that there is on the market. And 40 plus years of Experience. We love what we do, and we do our Best, to create your best Image.Services: Hairstyling
Way back in 2015 on our trip to Germany (1st pic) my hair was still light blond as it has been since 1987 when I had it bleached and dyed the roots at German hair salons ever since. In 2002 I immigrated to the US and my roots still got dyed at different US hair salons to my satisfaction. The only reason I kept looking for a different hair stylist: I was not happy with the cut. I had a wonderful hair stylist in Hamburg, Germany, who really could make my thin hair look fuller/more volume thanks to her layered cut. All off a sudden 3 or 4 years ago the first hair stylist told me in all seriousness that in order to keep my hair blond, I would need to do foils (???). I asked her why can't we simply dye my roots like we used to do? She shrugged her shoulders and said it could no longer be done. So I changed from Scizzors in Shrewsbury to St. Cyr in Worcester and after a while the same phenomenon happened there as well: the hair stylist told me in order to keep my blond hair I need to do foils. No real explanantion why dyeing my roots wouldn't take care of keeping the same blond all over my hair. So I went to Dellaria at the Natick Mall and another hair dresser told me that foils would be necessary. As there are so few hair stylists in Worcester with good reviews I ended up at Scizzors in Shrewsbury for another 3 visits in 2018 and 2019. In early May before our trip to Europe I finally gave in and let them do foils (2nd pic). I was right with my bad feeling regarding foils and should never have done it, because now my bangs were mostly brown, the last 4 inches of my shoulder-length hair was brown and in-between I was blond (???). And I paid twice as much for the foils as I paid for just dyeing the roots. Plus having foils done is a VERY painful procedure where the hair stylist pulled more at my hair than necessary. Insane! So I went back to Scizzors in August 2019 and asked them to give me blond hair through and through without foils, not just some blond strands and the rest of my hair was mostly brown, but they couldn't do it (???). Finally I decided to go to Rob Roy on Park Ave as they had some good reviews on Yelp, but I could not find them (they no longer exist at that location). So by chance I stopped at Image Hair Salon also on Park Ave and asked where I could find Rob Roy. The owner, Marcelle, made a very nice impression, so I told her my entire US hair stylist desaster story since 2015 and she said that with a high lift she could give me blond hair all over, probably within two sessions. So I had my first appointment last week and will have another one in 2 months, before we'll fly to CA. The result: I'm thrilled, because I have blond hair again, no more brown strands in-between. It has a light reddish tone (3rd pic), but Marcelle thinks it will be gone after the November high lift. In any case my hair color looks a lot better now than it did a month ago when I had the previous hair stylist appointment. Thank you, Marcelle! You found a new customer.
