“Of all the trade companies I deal with as a homeowner, Lohrman is my favorite. In the last couple of years, I’ve had to have them come out 5-6 times to service my old heating and central air units (which were not installed by them) for various issues. Every time they’ve been able to schedule me quickly, even once when I called at 2 pm before the 4th of July weekend in the middle of a heat wave. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and have the patience to answer my many questions along the way. I find their prices very fair and they’ve never tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. I was having an issue with the heat in my house and the contractor I usually use was having no luck in diagnosing and/or repairing the problem. After three visits and three days- still no heat, I reached out to John at SH&C. Within fifteen minutes of leaving a message he had called back. We talked about the issue and he was very informative and up front about what they could do. Within an hour the technician was at my house and within two hours the house was heating up. The next morning it was two degrees out and the cold could have done some serious damage due to pipes freezing. John listened and was sympathetic as I pleaded for help with the furnace.
