Donna always cuts my hair just right! She is easy to talk to, cuts hair so well, doesn't charge crazy prices, is quick and keeps the place very clean. Highly recommend Gio's Barber Shop, thanks.
This is a legitimate, true barber shop. Went here for the first time today and won't go anywhere else in Winthrop/East Boston for a haircut again. Walked in and sat right down. Woman who cut my hair really knew her stuff and knew how to cut men's hair. Worked quick and I walked out with the best haircut I've gotten in years. Amazing price and top notch work.
Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 with my boyfriend. We just moved to town and he needed an emergency cut and virtually picked the first place we saw. The woman (didn't catch her name, short blonde hair) took him right away. Seemed friendly and knowledgeable, quick and efficient. He asked her what to do about a problem spot from a prior cut, her reply was to let it grow out, that she could cut it down and make it look neat but the problem would just reoccur. The cut was 10 bucks, a very decent price! My only problem was there was hair all around the chair from her last client, and she had made a point to say it was an extremely slow day. Why not clean it up for the next customer? There also wasn't any barbicide for the comb she used, so I was a little concerned about the cleanliness. I am a girl though and have only been in salons, so this could be normal and I am just being hyper critical. The cut looks great though and I am sure the boy will go back in the future!
