Jerry Clancy and his son Brad are by far the most knowledgeable people I've ever dealt with in the trades. They are courteous and prompt in communicating with you. I had a 23 year old wall unit that was on its last legs. Jerry wanted pictures of the unit, model and make, the receptacle and plug configuration, and the exact measurements of the existing unit. The price was extremely fair and the recommendations were spot on. The carpenter Colm and his helper Mauricio were on time, professional, efficient, and left the work area in immaculate condition. If you're tired of the customary run around, do yourself a big favor. Call these guys. You will not be disappointed. Oh, I almost forgot. He sent rebate forms for $220 on the Friedrich unit and a $40 rebate from MassSave. You just can't beat that.
The folks at Concept are terrific in all respects and we recommend them without qualification. We have worked with the same people at Concept since 2015. They are professional, trustworthy, highly skilled, prompt, responsive, patient, and courteous. And it starts at the top with Brad at Concept, who possesses all of these traits. Our last interaction days ago was tricky but they came through and went out of their way with the installation and the tedious administrative aspects (not of their making but the making of the supplier) associated with the installation/swap out. Also, the persons from Concept who installed/swapped out our unit were respectful of our place and the people in it. Great company.
I was delighted with Concept. Two courteous guys arrived on time (actually early; having finished their prior job, they called to see whether they could come over sooner than planned) and worked efficiently, patiently answering my questions, sealing around the window to my precise (and probably annoying) specifications, and taking time to explain how our new air conditioner works. On the work order, instead of pages of legalese, I found a simple statement to sign. Jerry, the owner, had written out my requests for his workers. Nothing was left to chance. A-one.
