I was appalled to see how the staff treated my family in their time of mourning. The funeral that I attended was at Kirby's in New Bedford, the visiting hours from 1p-3p, at 2:35 the female staff member was asking everyone to say their last goodbyes and return to their vehicles and repeatedly said it over and over. Once we were all outside of course where we thought we could conversate she then came outside and told us to get in our vehicles to leave. All of this had taken place and it wasn't even 3:00 yet. I will never ever recommend Kirby's to anyone.

During a very difficult time and an unexpected death, my father selected Potter Funeral Service in Westport, MA for the arrangements for my mother. He knew others who had used their services and were happy with them. We met with Shane a day or 2 after my mom passed and he was very helpful, kind and understanding during our time of grief and overall exhaustion. He helped us through the difficult process of determining what we needed, as we really had no idea.
