“Dr Friedman has been my PCP since I was born. He delivered me and also assisted in delivering my son via C section in June. He has always been a great doctor and is extremely knowledgeable, always knowing what to do for whatever issue I would go in for. When I was 13 i went in for extreme fatigue, low motivation, and other symptoms and he knew right away which direction to go in. He felt my thyroid gland and knew right away that I had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and got me on track to get it in control. During my c section he came and saw me before the procedure to say hello and give me some comfort and words of encouragement. Throughout the procedure he talked me through it and made the c section as quick and efficient as he could while also being thorough and careful. Some people think he is arrogant, but he is just extremely smart and knows what he is doing. He does not beat around the bush and will not sugar coat things for you which I appreciate, but some people in todays society cannot handle that. If you’re complaining about something that has to do with being over weight then he will tell you that you are overweight and need to make lifestyle changes. If you’re one of those people who self diagnoses yourself and goes from 0-100 ablut your diagnosis, he will tell you how it is and to stop looking at the internet and listen to him.The bad reviews say he is rude, but I have never thought he was rude, he’s always nice and professional. I just think he is blunt, honest, and has a bit of sarcastic humor, and if you do not do well with that type of personality, or you’re sensitive, then you will probably not be able to deal with him as your Doctor.“
