“I have been coming here for about eight years. My job requires me to sit for long hours staring at several monitors while conducting forensic audits, so I have frequent upper back and neck pain. This specific location has undergone multiple transfers of ownership-proprietorship. However, each time I have come here the massage therapists do a fabulous and completely professional job. Each therapist is a highly trained and skilled massage therapist specializing in Thai massage. Aromatherapy, hot towels, hot stones and varying Thai modalities are all available. The prices are very, very reasonable and and the massage therapist are always professional and courteous in every way. The therapists also speak English very well and they are able to communicate effectively with their clientele. Parking is available in the front the building off of Washington Street. “I have been dealing with acute pain and inability to use my left arm for close to a year before I went to Khoury. “I chose the Lomi lomi massage as it was a new type of massage to me and I was drawn to the fact that it is a mind/body massage, focusing on your body’s entire energy and connection rather than a deep tissue massage.

Edward has set up his website and scheduling process so that new clients get as much detailed information on what a lomi lomi massage is and how it is a different experience than other types of massages. I was impressed by the amount of time he spent ensuring that this was the right type of massage for me. He’s a great listener as well.

As for the massage, it was amazing; it felt like a cross between hula dance and the being among the waves of the ocean. I was able to quiet my mind and my body felt rebalanced afterwards.
