“I’ve been up and down the south shore at many different barbershops and none compare to this one. Every time I come in to The Modern Barbershop I’m greeted kindly and politely with a “Hey man! I’d like to shout out one barber in particular named Deklan. I ask for him specifically when I come in. I’ve always had trouble with getting the right cut from other barbers at the many barbershops I’ve been to whether it’s regarding my hair or beard and his attention to detail along with the way he listens to your requests and makes sure you don’t leave the seat without feeling comfortable with the result is like no other barber I’ve been to.

“Once walk-in for trim; second time pre booked. Friendly welcome, little to no wait time. The walls are brightly colored and perfect for kids. All staff have incredibly positive attitudes to make each little person feel welcomed and valued without making them feel overwhelmed. Different hair stylist both times but they did exactly what my daughter had asked of me. Most importantly my daughter has loved her hair both times. All staff are friendly and engaging and know how to talk to kids. We will definitely be back for a post summer haircut!“

“I went in with my son and Grandson who both got excellent haircuts! I was warmly greeted by Rachel, who made me feel very welcome. My grandson got his haircut first, while I waited for my son to get his haircut my grandson and I played air hockey! I must say I was very impressed!“
