“I have never been to a piercing/tattoo studio and will probably not have occasion to again, so I wasn't sure what to expect. My 16 y/o daughter wanted a second ear piercing so I brought her here and had an amazing experience. The studio was immaculate and inviting, the staff was super friendly, and Jay was completely professional and personable. He was clearly concerned with making sure we didn't feel rushed and with giving us the proper education about what to expect and how to care for the piercing afterwards. The staff there are super chill and definitely know what they are doing. Clean place and sterile. “I have gone to Studio 31 3 times for tattoos and have always had a great experience. The shop is super clean and has a cool atmosphere and all of the artists do solid work! I had a piece done yesterday by Shoe on my calf and I had planned to do both calves in one sitting. After the first was done, we talked about how I was feeling and what the best approach would be as I wanted to get a bit more done but didn’t think I would be able to sit still for another 2+ hours. I asked if we could do the outline to get things started and Shoe gave me the pros and cons for that. I had seen a post about this same artist before, saying that he talked her out of doing what she wanted or said he could not do what she wanted. I had the complete opposite experience. He gave advice as to why it is better to do the entire thing in one sitting but also said try at it was my choice as I was the customer. I knew that I didn’t t know better than someone who has been doing it for 20+ years and took his advice. Needless to say, I will be going back in a few weeks to get my other calf done. Lastly, besides being knowledgeable, he does really great work! I highly recommend this place and also Shoe and Jason Banks (those are the only artists I have gotten ink from).“
