My children have been attending classes with Shihan/Master Instructor Eric for more than 2 years. He is able to get kids who don’t enjoy sports to participate in class, which is the test of a good instructor. Shihan Eric is very attentive, gives specific instructions, and approaches children in a calm and friendly but no non-sense manner.Students earn physical games at the end of class that focus on skills needed to progress in martial arts (agility, speed, coordination, etc).
Shihan Eric is fantastic ( Shihan is a Title is Karate meaning master instructor if you don't know. I didn't know before my kids joined here ). He has great form and engages kids in a super fun and friendly environment. He gives very clear verbal instructions to kids and he remembers all kids' names, which is very impressive. My kids started once a week and now they are asking for more. This class has become the highlight of their week. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone whose kids are starting and wanting to continue.
