This place is great!! Price is best in town and the cutaway top notch. I've been having to go to Somerville and Cambridge to get an affordable, proper barber, so it is great to have one now in Brookline!

They open at 7:00 which is a plus. They have their own off street parking. The prices are reasonable. 20.00 for a buzz cut. I guess the barber realized I had a receding hairline which justified the cost of a buzz cut. I will return in 8 weeks when I need a new cut.

Since we moved to Wellesley my son and I have been going to Ideal Barber Shop. We have always had excellent haircuts from everyone there (though we usually see Manny and sometimes Tony.) My son, who now lives in Cambridge, comes back to Wellesley for his haircuts because no other barber shop comes close to the job they do.
