My 58 y/o partner, Michael, has been at Watertown Rehab and Nursing for two weeks since leaving the hospital after a spinal cord injury. Watertown was the only rehab to accept him because of his insurance. We weren't expecting much of the facility but have been pleasantly surprised! All the staff on the floor will answer our questions, get supplies we request, show us where things are located etc. Everyone is friendly yet professional.Management has been available to me when I've had a need that had to beaddressed by them. The food is muchbetter than expected. Michael sees PT and OT frequently. There's a big room where they have activities or movies all day for those...read full review

The physical therapy here is excellent. My mom had a total knee replacement and she was walking steadily and moving well in just 3 short weeks. Their PT team pushes their patients at every session just enough to see progress, but with care to not cause too much strain. The PT staff were kind, patient, and seemed genuinely happy to see my mom's progress, which in turn, motivated my mom to do her very best. The facilities are a little outdated and can do with a little interior remodeling, but rooms were clean, bedding was changed frequently, and staff were responsive to patient requests. Nursing staff here is pretty good, they are communicative and willing to listen to their patients in order to care for them at a level that is comfortable for the incumbent. The reception staff are friendly! The food is not good. I understand food will not be gourmet at any facility of this nature, but they could take certain action steps to at least improve upon what they do offer. Even so, if my mom made mention of this, a nurse would bring her a snack or a small sandwich to make sure she at least ate something. This, to me, shows understanding of the patient's plight and a desire to help the person be as comfortable as realistically possible. In conclusion, this facility is a good bet for physical rehabilitation and I would recommend it for this purpose. Based on some research, it seems this place has done a lot to improve on their care and services and the effort really shows. Thank you WHC!

I have family here and all that matters is that he is taken care of well. My grandfather is happy and his health is stable for the first time in a long time. The front desk person is very nice and I'm grateful of the experience so far. So this is a big thank you!!!
