The front desk staff are welcoming. The Doctor’s have modern technology for examining the eyes. They have a great selection of frames. The glasses can be made there in the office. Both Dr. Malcolm and Dr. Martin are caring towards their patients. Colleen P

I've been going to Dr. Mal Greene for years...he is an excellent doctor and very caring about his patients. Their technology is up to date too.

I researched for a while, trying to find a 4-star or higher rated optometrist in the Newton area. I searched over the course of several weeks, off and on, until I came across these brothers, Greene and Greene. They attained the only 5-star rating I could find--and that was composed of multiple ratings--not just one or two people that could be relatives. Out of all of the reviews I read (and I read them ALL) there was only one negative review. I took it seriously at first, but then, it was the ONLY one. My husband really needed an appointment but I made mine first to scope it out. Well, I finally found our new optometrists! They have state-of-the-art equipment. No more eye drops and eye dilation and needing a ride or waiting until the blurriness abates. Greene and Greene has a laser that does the work. You can see a huge image of your retina. My Dr Greene leaned back in his chair and spent time with me talking about my eyes and about retinas in general and how through this technology, optometrists can sometimes identify potential problems such as MS or diabetes. I was fascinated. Dr Greene did not rush me in any way. He explained things I never knew and I usually ask a lot of questions. On-street parking in front of the office and plenty of metered spaces across the small, one-way street. The office is clean. You can purchase glasses onsite but there is no pressure whatsoever to do so. I am very pleased with my find.
