Lost hot water at the shower and likely culprit was the Moen PosiTemp cartridge. No problem. Went to HD, bought the cartridge, came home and tried to remove the old one. Hahaha Did. Not. Budge. Tried to rip the thing out for over an hour, but it was so corroded it had fused with the faucet. It was about 4pm when I started to panic. Couldn't put the control valve back together because it was so f broken. Basically an open tap. I looked up a Waltham plumber with some good reviews and called Hickey's Plumbing.
