“They ran power to my shed, and generally did a great job and were super easy to work with.

Months later though I went to hook up the mini split they ran power for and it turns out the disconnect box they installed didn’t come with the required fuses.

Four stars for a generally great experience, except for the few days of frustration trying to debug the disconnect box.“

“Just had a great experience with A1 Electric. We accidentally stuck a nail through a wire and panicked, not knowing what to do. We called a few places and most said they’d have to charge us just to come out and assess the situation. Richie on the other hand said he’d be here within 30 min and would give us a free quote. He was prompt, told us the total cost right away, and fixed the whole issue which involved cutting into our wall and replacing a damaged wire, plus replacing the breaker, all within 2 hours. We will definitely call A-1 again!“

After striking out on a couple other flakey (or possibly just busy) electricians it was refreshing to work with Dan. Though I found him on yelp he preferred communication via email. Was able to coordinate a time to come check out the job (wiring and installation of video floodlight, placement of outlet in a closet space). He was quick with return of a quote and was able to work me into his schedule. Was maybe only 2 weeks of lead time from quote acceptance to work being completed. Installation was quick and works perfectly. Again, much appreciate the professional communication and excellent work. Highly recommended and will work with again if needed!!“

He provided quotes and estimates very quickly, and was regularly available by phone to answer all questions in advance (as he was throughout the actual project). Extremely capable at diagnosing problems and fixes visually, virtually and on location technically, and when there were options available was on spot ready to educate us on different solutions and costs. Very pleased with his communication skills as well as his technical abilities. We had our 60 year old home upgraded to 200 amp service from a well overloaded board. No easy job.
