Over the years I've had numerous reasons to need the assistance that physical therapy provides. On every occasion I became frustrated and felt that I was either just another person coming through a clinic or felt it was a waste of time. After a serious injury from a fall requiring shoulder surgery, I found myself seeking PT. I walked through the door less than optimistic and very resistant to the process. Marissa was assigned to do my eval. All I could think at the time was that I was in so much pain, what could she possibly do. It's been over a year, and I feel compelled to say that without Marissa and Steph (yes, it takes two) I would probably be in a wheelchair with very limited mobility. They have been patient, encouraging, supportive and they see me... all of me. They see me as a person, not just a body part. They have worked with my surgeon and various medical counterparts to help me. They have been there during the setbacks and the victories. Sometimes it's a small thing and other times we celebrate. To see me as a whole person not just a shoulder, back, leg ... such a gift to my medical well being. I cannot say enough about them and am so thankful.
