“Wonderful service, Nina always returns home happy and smelling good, excellent work.
Thank you pink dog ?“
“I wish we could give more than 5 stars. We have owned dogs for over fifty years, but our one-year-old Australian Cobberdog presented new challenges for us. She had a variety of behaviors that were unpleasant for us. She barked at everything she saw out the window at home or in a car, she played far too roughly with other dogs, and while she was great on recall at an empty field, she would take off with distractions like dogs, squirrels, kids or birds. She could also be reactive to dogs and people while walking on a leash. So, we did our due diligence. and finally came across K9 Kompanion and their board and train option. Aside from over sixty-five “5 star” reviews on Google, and talking with former clients, we were convinced us that K9 Kompanion was the real deal. We are amazed and grateful for the behaviors they taught our dog and then taught us.
Our contact with K9 Kompanion was extraordinary from beginning to what we hope is never an end. You see, once you go through their training, you are a client for life. Our initial contact was with Tiffany, the owner-founder and head trainer, who spoke to us in detail about their program and about our interests in changing the behaviors for which we needed help. We felt very comfortable with her explanations of their training methods and what was realistic to achieve in a three-week board and train. At drop off, we were greeted by Kat, lead trainer and behavior specialist, who was warm and funny and talked us through their whole process. When we left, we felt comfortable that we had made the right decision.During the training, we received photos and videos through a private text group they set up for us. We loved seeing our dog playing with their ten-dog family and the smaller six dog training group. It also allowed us to get a sense of our dog’s progress from leash training to off-leash work and to watch her playing joyfully with a group of dogs. In addition to the daily dumps of photos and videos, they also kept us up to date with her specific training milestones after their weekly training assessment. Anytime we had questions during the three-week training period, we could address our concerns or questions through this private text group, and they were always very responsive.
The training ended when both Tiffany and Kat returned our dog to our home. A few days before, they sent us instruction videos and written directions for how to receive our dog along with our homework assignments for the next three months to ensure that the behaviors our dog learned would continue. At our house, Tiffany and Kat walked us through their methods, how to properly use the E-Collar they had trained her with, and how to maintain a comfortable loose leash walk. In our home, they demonstrated the key concept of place and down as a way of helping our dog calm herself and be ready to follow our instructions. Tiffany and Kat walked around our neighborhood with us and our dog and made sure we understood their methods. They would have stayed as long as we had questions and never made us feel rushed.
In the first week at home, we are simply amazed at how effective the training was for our dog and for us. Our very active and very smart Cobberdog now remains in whatever “place” we put her, remains “down” when we tell her and she reacts instantly to a recall command in an open field regardless of whether other dogs appear, she sees birds, or wants to run and play with kids. She walks on a loose leash staying on our left side and staying behind the plane of our knees. She is the same delightful, playful, curious, friendly and mischievous little girl, but she now recognizes and responds to our direction when we need her to listen. When she plays with other dogs, she is generally appropriate, but when she gets a little too rambunctious, a simple tap on the E-Collar reminds her to slow down. She is just generally calmer and more pleasant to have around.
In sum, we are over the moon with our decision to place our dog in the K9 Kompanion three-week board a“

“Wonderful place! Judy is very helpful and always quickly responds to questions and emails. The classes are a lot of fun!“
“We were having issues with our rescue puppy, Stella, showing food aggression and trying to be the “boss” of us (mostly me!). Alison was amazing. She knew exactly how to help us work through these issues and Stella responded quickly to the training/modifications we learned. . We have worked with Alison on a couple of other minor behavior issues and we have seen great results. I highly recommend The Balanced Pack and am so glad we found you!“
“Life Is Dog has turned our little adorable but wildly lunging hooligan into a delightful, nearly civilized, walkable pup! We have a bit more to go for full civility, but we're sure that Life Is Dog will get us all the way. Great people, great training, much fun, great pride in our very smart pup! Thanks so much!“
“Jennifer is a wonderful trainer to work with and my husband and I both highly recommend her! The one-on-one sessions provided us weekly opportunities to work on specific things with our puppy. She is extremelyknowledgeable and also open to working on skills and tools you are hoping to develop with your dog. We enjoyed our 8-week training and the added bonus of the puppy socials we're able to attend too!“
“I love Metro Pets. They are always on time. And they return my precious standard poodle on time and beautifully groomed with a call 15 minutes in advance. Madison is a highly skilled groomer and she and Willow are a lovely match. I highly recommend Metropets. Not all groomers can handle a standard poodle cut that looks like a poodle but not too frooffy. Willow and I love Madison and Metropets.“
“My dog Max is a rescue puppy we got last August 2022. Max can be a hesitant dog to strangers and even our family/friends. Max has been going to doggie day camp for over a years now. They treat him so well, he loves them! Everyday when I bring him in his tail starts to wag as I check him in and he see's the manager. I swear he loves them as much as he loves us. They do fun photos monthly and even celebrate his birthday. We've even started to use their dog hotel when we go on vacation. He always comes home tired from all the playing he gets done there. I would suggest this doggie daycare/hotel to anyone in the area. That's how we started going by coworker who had a great experience as well and suggested I take Max. We also did two courses of dog training with an associate named Julia. She ran really great classes and had so much patience with all owners and puppies.“
“Cannot say enough about Carrie and Paws Unleashed - we have a 2 year old pandemic puppy whose social anxiety made puppy day camp an impossibility, reached out to Carrie, who had an opening, and she enthusiastically offered to take our stage-five-clinger Berner on her daily hikes. To our utter amazement, she was able to not only get our pup on the car for the hike, but spend a lot of time after the trial run talking through some training advice, all of which was incredibly on-point. We learned more in 45 minutes with Carrie than we did in two years of dog training books and online courses. TL;DR - if you're looking for a magical dog walker/trainer who is reliable, thorough, knows what they're doing - Carrie is the one.“
