“I have the great pleasure of being one of Jennifer Gill’s clients at Sydney’s Hair Salon in Sudbury. I am incredibly grateful to have found her! She is truly special.Not only is Jennifer is an absolutely phenomenal colorist, and stylist, she is an incredibly warm, caring, and positive person. Her talent to improve the way I feel leaving her salon is priceless and unique. She is so gifted in her understanding that her clients’ feeling beautiful is part of their looking beautiful, and she helps us achieve both.It has been well over a year since I made the leap from my previous upscale salon where I had been a loyal client for many years. While I loved my previous stylist, I became increasingly disappointed in the services and the salon overall. All of the staff were friendly, but the sinks were overbooked, the assistants were still learning and as a result, hit or miss. Clients with appointments scheduled ahead of mine, in addition to my own appointments, began to run later and later. There was lots of “waiting” for appointments to start, for sinks, to end, and then even to just check out. Although I was happy with my hair, I was stressed and frustrated by the inconsistency of one appointment to the next. I felt more like an appointment than a valued client.I had long before heard of Jennifer’s stellar reputation and I had seen the result of her color talents on other clients. I decided to take a chance and reach out. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. I lost nothing by leaving the other salon and gained everything booking with Jennifer. I only wish I had done it sooner.From the moment I stepped foot into Jennifer’s airy, refreshing, relaxing, and spotless salon, I knew I had found the salon I had long hoped for.The team at Sydney’s sincerely care for one another, and for each client that comes through, tending to each personally and promptly. They are truly a team and that yields an incredibly positive experience for me as a client.Every time I’m at Sydney’s, the time flies by. “The location is 5 stars- you are walking distance - to all of the charming shops, restaurants and many historic sites right outside! The hotel has the charm of an old Inn and the staff is very friendly and helpful- wish I could have stayed long enough to do the history walk that starts at the inn! Shops do all close promptly at 5pm. The parking lot behind is welcome for a historic gem AND easy load in or out via that parking lot level-- Rooms are HISTORIC- meaning small =tight- very tight bathrooms and limited plug ins-- THE MATTRESSES should be replaced-- as that would offset some of the other small quarters-- Maybe even remove the TV monitors in some rooms as that would give more space for luggage-- some of us don't watch TV when we travel especilly in a historic property--- you could just create a small reading room somewhere-- Not many maps of area were readily available-- Would stay again if in area--“

Several of my friends go to Brittany and had raving reviews, so I decided to try her out! First of all, her salon is super inviting and cute, located right in West Acton. Second, she's really, really great with my hair!“

“Booking an appointment with this salon was super easy. The salon itself was smaller and cozy I liked the decorations it was a comfortable environment. The services I got done were a wash, cut, and blow out. When I was getting my hair washed the water kept dripping down my back. The hair stylist and lady at the desk were extremely welcoming and friendly. For my haircut I asked for a trim, layers, and feathery bangs. I brought in 2 reference photos and I told her what I liked from each photo. I think the hair cut looks good, it isn’t exactly what I asked for but it’s still pretty. My hair was frizzy in the front from blow drying it, I feel like the hair cut I got is high maintenance and requires styling to look good because of the layering however I didn’t book an additional styling because that was out of my budget. The appointment was quick it only took 25 minutes. The services I received in total costed $89 + the 25% tip I left which isn’t mandatory I just like to tip small businesses. I added the reference pictures I showed and the haircut I received. Note: I forgot to take a picture of the blowout. Those photos of the haircut are from me restyling it when I got home from the appointment.“
