“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.“

“Had a routine checkup for my dog, where he also got some shots. The office and exam rooms were both very clean. The vet and vet tech were so kind and caring of my pup, he was in great hands the whole time. They also provided me with useful information about heartworm and flea/tick medication that I asked for as well. Very good experience, would recommend!“

“Dr Hanson and her amazing team cared for my dog for the last 15 years including many tough times. When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. She is a very special Vet, your pets will be lucky to have her watching over them. Thank you Dr Hanson !“

“Dr Santos took care of my dogs for 6 years. Sad she’s gone. The office staff and providers are all different from when I first started coming there. I can’t tell yet. They seem attentive and nice.“

“We come here all the way from Marblehead! Dr Bysko diagnosed our English bulldog with a liver condition when we got her spayed (I chose Woburn bc we did a less invasive one). If we had not gone here I don’t think we’d have a proper diagnosis today. The care here is unmatched.“

I agree with other reviews that it is stressful to not be able to be there with your pet when they are being examined, but I am happy that they take the health and safety of their patients seriously. WAH is always friendly when you call with questions and Dr. Cusick is always quick to address any concerns.“

Dr. Duca is very knowledgeable and I appreciate his integrity in that he wasn't looking to charge me or add on extras. I didn't get the chance to thank him for caring for my dog when he was a puppy and early years. My dog is now 12 and doing well. I would have continued with Dr. Duca, however my dog can be a handful and we just needed a bigger staff to handle him. But thanks Dr.Duca.“
