“Had a bad clog in main sewer line at a rental property. Tenants could not use any water, showers or flushing or it backed up into basement bathroom shower. Called Mark at 9AM and he was there by 12:30, assessed the problem and everything was complete in one hour. Great service at reasonable price.“

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My neighbor recommended Dave Ritchie to me a few years ago when I was converting my boiler's oil burner to a gas burner. Since then, Dave has helped me install a gas line for a gas fireplace insert, and has completely replumbed my master bathroom during a renovation. I cannot say enough positive things about Dave! He's responsive, caring, thoughtful, and extremely skilled (he's a master plumber). His work is indeed impeccable. There's no feeling like the comfort that comes with knowing your plumber knows their stuff and never does shoddy work. He has solved problems I didn't think could be solved. He's bailed me out of a couple of emergency plumbing situations (such as when my contractor ran screws through a water line twice). Dave never leaves a mess behind. “We had a leak that was partially flooding our basement, we didn't notice until labor day when everyone was closed. We called the company and Thomas Nigro called us back within 20 minutes on a HOLIDAY.
He had a technician out the next day to fit with our busy schedule, and they found the cause of the leak right away. They also let us know that our tank was from 1989 (20 years past due!!)
They had a price for us right away, and had a tank ready in the truck.

“A week ago our water started to turn off and then come back. Called Shaffer Beacon and it turned out my 40 year old well pump was shutting down on overload. They scheduled to replace the pump the following week and Randy and his crew did an amazing job. Pulling a 40 year old pump that's 185 feet down isn't an easy job. They replaced the pump, the piping, the wiring and the pump cap, so everything is brand new. They also suggested, and I agreed, to replace the 40 year old pressure tank rather do it later on a separate service call. Unfortunately for Shaffer, Randy is retiring next month, which will be a great loss, but I'm sure his assistants will fill his shoes. Next will be the 40 year old boiler and 40 year old oil tank“
