A good family friend recommended this business in town instead of potentially driving to Wilbraham for his haircut. And we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome and their efforts to make Everett feel so comfortable at the barber.

“I've been going to Hany to get my hair cut for years. I first went to Hany when he was in Westfield, where I live.. I was sad when he moved to Southwick. I tried other area barbers but eventually decided just to follow Hany to Southwick. It's a further drive but Hany is worth it!“

“New Location (New Photos!) Across the street now. Looking for the perfect, no-nonsense, comfortable, authentic barbershop? This place is it. Easy to get to, easy parking. Calm and warming, like the owner himself. Frankly I’ve gotten tired of corporate barbers that require apps, waiting rooms, and TV screens lining the walls. Aren’t you? Tired of getting people you don’t have a rapport with, people who could care less. This barber shop is very homey like in the old days. Reminds me of the one I grew up with. The owner is very positive, always a smile, and he remembers how you like it. No waiting, no nonsense. That’s really it. No nonsense. Just comfortable, like an old soft shoe. To the Tiffany lamps, to the large windows, this place is the hometown place. I travel 45 minutes to get here. Why? Because it’s consistently great, always the same. Because same is what you can count on, what you can rely on. No bells and whistles or distractions. All these corporate barbers are always marketing new gimmicks, selling themselves as “real”. This place is real. It makes the experience great when there is positivity and quality. You won’t be disappointed with this place. It will become the place you always go to. “My 3 boys have very fine, silky hair that doesn't do much beyond lay flat or stand up straight in a static halo. One got a classic fade, and the other two wanted... Modern mullets, sigh. Everyone got what they wanted and I paid a reasonable price. Sir was very friendly and good with the boys. Shop was super clean and tastefully decorated. Will absolutely be coming back!“

“I have been a client of Carlos for over 17 years Carlos is a very professional person when it comes to his job he doesn’t play around. Carlos has done my highlights blonde, blue, green and now purple. Carlos is all about making sure that your hair is protected he’s not all about the money he makes sure that you leave the salon happy and w healthy hair. I totally appreciate when I ask Carlos for a certain color and if he thinks it will ruin my hair he will not do it and there are not many hairstylist that tell you how it is most of them do it just for the money. I was here last Saturday my appointment was for 4 o’clock and because he was dealing w this annoying customer who didn’t know what she wanted I was taken at 6 o’clock when normally all I wait for Carlos to do my hair is no more than 15 to 20 min Carlos explained to her what would happen to her hair if he added more bleach to her hair she wasn’t listening to reason and Carlos told her if you like I will do your hair and put more bleach but you have to sign a paper saying that if your hair breaks more than it already is I will not be responsible but she didn’t want to do that. Carlos has a very long list of clients that always leaves the salon very happy. If there is someone who is professional and takes his job seriously that’s Carlos Martinez. I love you Carlos thank you for always having my best interest at heart and always making me look fabulous.“
