“We live on Martha's Vineyard where road test slots are notoriously hard to come by, and there's only one auto school in town. Not only did we have to book a road test on the mainland, but we also needed a car due to the fact that our own vehicle does not have the emergency break within reach of the examinator (its on the left side of our steering wheel, so not suitable to use for the road test). Each time we found an available road test at numerous RMVs, we had to contact a driving school to see if they had a car available for that time slot but by the time they returned our call, the RMV slot was taken. Drivers Edge Academy was the only school willing to go to the process with us, staying on the phone comparing the RMV availability with their driving schedule. We eventually settled on an 8am road test.My daughter was unfamiliar with the area just before her road test, and David not only took the time to work with her but also managed to calm her nerves. He met with my daughter at 7 am on the day of the roadtest. What's even more impressive is that he spent an exceptional amount of time on the phone with us the day before the test, going over every detail and expectation in thorough detail.David's accommodating, kind, and supportive demeanor truly made a world of difference for my daughter. He acted as an exceptional proctor for the road test, providing the guidance and reassurance she needed to succeed.If you're looking for a driving school that goes above and beyond, Drivers Edge Academy and David are the way to go. “This was a four weeks long cost effective CDL course.  From day one, the instructors were very matter-of-fact.  It was made clear from the beginning that the class would be fast-paced. I failed my test 2 times before taking a road test at Braintree RMV and he really went through small details prior test and I pass easily. “Ok, I first thought this school was less than stellar, but I was way off on my first impressions. It is almost a family affair-styled business with instructors that have years of experience, compassion and the know-how to deal with teenagers of all walks of life. They were flexible in their approach to scheduling and really tried hard to accommodate when possible. My kid just finished the driving hours, and all she did was remark on the various instructor's abilities to make her feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to go through this important time!“
