“After trying to get appointment with my current provider multiple times, I decided to find a new practice. My daughter was having some issues with her eyes. I called as a new patient and they got us in next day! Staff were very friendly and professional and the facility had a nice feel. Not commercialized. They quickly saw my daughter and the exam was thorough. Afterwards I decided to schedule her yearly eye exam and they had very good availability! The last practice we used not only had no openings, they wouldn’t see her. Booked up until 2025 is what they said… I look forward to going back to Village Eye care to get my daughter some cool new glasses. The selection looked great!“

“Had my first visit to village eye care today, I want to start off by saying how nice it was to be able to schedule a new patient visit within 3 weeks! Once I arrived, they called me in about 5 minutes early, they were professional and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The whole appointment went very smoothly and quickly. “Dr. Maciaszek was able to diagnose the issues I've had with my eyes for many years when other eye doctors have not been able to. I have spent many hundreds of dollars with I exams in different places getting glasses that never really did the trick. Dr. Maciaszek diagnosed my eyes as both having no color in the vitreous humor as well as one requiring prisms to stop my double vision. He spent a very long time with me in the office to make sure things were correct and for the first time I was able to see accurately without headaches and double vision. His "bedside manner" is top notch. He was patient and deliberate and extremely thorough. If you've been having problems with your eyes that have not been properly diagnosed, this is the guy to go to. His exams were gentle and to the point and so long as he is in practice, he will be the only guy doctor that I will visit.“

He identified a potential problem of which I was unaware and gave me confidence in his judgment and abilities. To note that I am positively impressed is an understatement. I believe the technical expression of my relationship to Dr. Shields and to Megan is that I 'lucked out'.“
