“Amal Niccoli is an incredible salon with fair prices that will make you feel right at home. I originally went to them for my/my bridal party’s hair & makeup for my wedding day a year ago and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. So much so that I am now a regular customer for hair and lashes, and have referred several others (they have an incredible referral program as well)! I see Colleen for my hair, Courtney for my lash extensions, and Angelica for my lash lifts. They all pride themselves on great work and are extremely personable. The salon is literally right down the street from me, but I would absolutely still go even if I lived an hour away (and I know other people who literally do drive 1hr+ to go there!). “I think the manager (?) was a bit sarcastic, which felt off-putting as an introvert, but that’s probably just his personality. Aside from that, great service from the front desk to my stylist, Val. She just seemed to understand me from the get go. She completely accommodated my hectic schedule, listened to my needs, and most of all, DELIVERED! I got so many compliments on my hair after getting a full hair dye, haircut, and treatment. She didn’t bombard me with personal questions (I’m very introverted), but made me feel comfortable and like a little princess when she gave me a complimentary massage while sitting in my hair treatment. Love love love Val!!!! Absolute pleasure to have met her after relocating and being able to quickly find my new hair person. Will come back for more services just because of Val.

Requested style: I had carrot orange ends, just a ton of different shades of color (I’ve experimented a lot with my hair in the past). I initially wanted ashy light brown, but after consulting with Val, I realized my hair was too damaged to go lighter. She listened, and I left with a gorgeous darker ashy brown shade and lovely highlights. I felt like she met my desires while being realistic.

Hair type: I have coarse, thick, asian hair that was damaged from lots of bleach and services over time in other locations. It’s hard to get asian hair to be ashy, from all the orange hues, but Val serveeeed ? weeks in and I’m still feeling so cute“
