Iyengar Yoga Source Yoga

“Though I'd done yoga quite a long time ago, I had never done Iyengar yoga. I've been surprisingly pleased with this different approach, and already find myself carrying what I've learned into my day-to-day. I've had improved posture and self-awareness and feel confident that I'm helping to fend off pains and problems that come with age as I get help undoing bad habits- some of which I didn't even know I had. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and the community is friendly and welcoming.“

“I am a long-time student at Body Dynamics. Classes are extremely well instructed, always different and challenging. The size of each class affords students to receive individual attention from the instructor. Just recently, I have been introduced to Yoga Fusion. I look forward to every Thursday to attend class. I highly recommend it to anyone with stiff muscles and a racing mind. I love the studio and what it has to offer. -Markie“

Acupuncture & Holistic Medical Center Yoga

“If you’re reading this it’s because you have a health issue. Twenty-three years ago. I was almost bedridden. I had degenerating discs in my neck. I couldn’t hold my head up and my arms and hands were numb. Surgery was going to be risky with no guarantees. I didn’t know anything about acupuncture. So, I nervously tried it. Acupuncture gave me my life back. I am playing golf again. I recently had to call Dr Liu because I had excruciating lower back pain. The pain was debilitating. Dr Liu was very accommodating. I’m feeling good again. I’m living proof that acupuncture works. I highly recommend Dr Liu. You owe it to yourself to make an appointment. So you can get your life back on track as well.

Rhode Island Hot Yoga Yoga

“This was my introduction to yoga. I took my very first class here about a month ago when I first became interested in yoga. Looking back on it, it probably wasn't a great idea to jump into a one and a half hour hot yoga class for my very first session as I struggled to keep up and was sweating like crazy, but despite all of that, I still loved it and have been doing hot yoga classes ever since at a studio closer to my house. The staff working here are very kind and friendly and were there at the beginning of class welcoming everyone. Even though I couldn't keep up with the class, I was never made to feel uncomfortable about it. The instructor was great at teaching the yoga class. Overall a great yoga studio for anyone in the Bristol area!“

Motion Center Yoga Yoga

“I can not say enough nice things about my years of practicing yoga at Motion Center. I have taken a weekly class with Christy Chase for at least a decade. Her thoughtful sequencing and knowledge of the asanas and sutras has helped me both physically and mentally. It is a well appointed studio with small class sizes. The classes are fun, meaningful, and very supportive (pun Intended). Thank you!“

Gracie Love Thai Yoga Bodyworks Yoga

“The Thai massage I got at Gracie Love was exceptional. I've never cried during a massage before, but it finally happened -- completely unexpectedly. One minute I was having my hips stretched to their limits, the next I was flooded with tears. It was more than a massage, it was being cared for by a healer. I'm not a spiritual personal all, and I'd say the language that was being used during the massage was not one that I was very familiar with, but the message was clear: love, care, uncompromising positive regard. I felt like my body was surrounded by the care of another human that was safe and good. I would say this massage was truly healing, far beyond my sore hips.“

“I enrolled my daughter in this dojo seeking a positive female role model for my daughter after a tough divorce. Linda was always a great teacher and a wind in my daughters sails. We recently moved and subsequently had to stop attending class. Linda was very graceful and understanding about it and wished us well without any bitterness or angst. I consider her a friend despite compensating her for teaching my daughter. There simply are not enough good role models out there that lead by example and positivity like she did. Linda is a true class act. She will be missed.“

“I came to Jessie after a week of nerve pain from an injury had gotten me all locked up in my left arm, shoulder, neck, and back. She's amazing. Through a combination of techniques we worked gently through some spasming muscles and tension in muscle groups I hadn't realized were all connected! The session was unhurried and she gave me a vocabulary for describing how things felt and techniques to maintain the level of relaxation we'd achieved. The pain was so reduced that that night I got my first full night of sleep since the injury!“

Yoga with Anamaria Yoga

“Loud music and a fast paced flow define this class. The instructor and an assistant walk around and help correct your form while the class is occurring. Taking a few yoga classes in the past helps since they don't really explain many of the poses. It's easy to get lost, especially when the music drowns out your instructor.“

O M Kids Yoga Center Yoga

“Om Kids Yoga in Hope Artiste Village is so much fun! We had a blast at Mommy and Baby yoga this morning! I found this yoga center by a quick google search online, and I was already impressed with their fabulous website: www.omkidsyogacenter.com I made a phone call and spoke with the owner and fabulous yoga instructor, Elyse Rotondo. I was interested in the Mommy and Baby yoga classes available, and she was so welcoming and friendly right off the bat. When I made it to the center (parking can be a little tricky, but Main Street and side street parking available, plus two small lots in front and to the side of the building are available), I immediately embraced this fun and relaxing space. The classes are reasonable in price, and very much worth it. My child had a great time with all the fun yoga poses, especially the dancing to fun music part. I felt I was able to get a mild to at times moderate workout (with some of the poses). During savasana, the instructor watched a couple of the little crawling babies, as my friend and I were able to fully relax and enjoy a full 3 and a half minutes of total relaxation. This may not seem like a lot - but it was heaven to this mom who is used to chasing after an active little almost toddler. At the end, hot tea is offered and you're able to stay as long as you'd like (there wasn't a class right after). The owner is so knowledgable about yoga, childcare, and keeping both parent and baby entertained, active, happy, and relaxed. I can't wait to go back!“

Source Wellness Yoga

“I have been to see Michelle at Source Wellness a number of times and I am a huge fan. In my younger years i did a lot of damage to my body from sports and stunts etc. so I have always had issues with my back and legs. I have seen a number of Chiropractors and none of them really helped. i think that is the best thing about Michelle is that she combines multiple methods to solving a problem, from Massage to Chiropractic techniques and Reiki to rebirthing (which she still has not sold me on). Regardless of whether you're a conservative republican or a haite st hippy, she has the skills to straighten you out.“
