I finally went inside this establishment after 44 years of living right down the street from it. I lived in Egleston Square my entire life but I would always walk by this place enroute to the barbershop down the street. I sat down in the chair that belonged to Mr. Lawson, a man I saw as a kid growing up on Weld Ave every morning and then as an adult. This man rarely missed a day's work. A true legend in this neighborhood. Though Mr. Lawson never cut my hair, his daughter Erica took care of that for him. The haircut came out just the way I wanted it. I'm so happy it did because my barber of over 25yrs just finally retired. I'm hoping this place remains a part of this neighborhood...read full review
