“Got my first professional haircut and beard trim in over eight years from Jack at his new Beverly location on Conant St. and I can't say enough good things. I had been cutting my own hair and trimming my beard for a number of years after another North Shore barber made me look like I was headed to join the cast of Jersey Shore and obliterated my beard so bad I had to shave it and start over. I finally decided it was time to go to a professional and get my style updated. Most of the shops I saw on Yelp in my area have photos of clients with that Jersey Shore sort of haircut, but I was looking for something more along the lines of "Lumberjack with a corporate job". I couldn't have been happier with Jack's interpretation of that very loose explanation!!!First of all, there is off-street free parking for the building, which is a rarity on Conant st. The inside of the shop is all tiki themed, very clean, and the music was great! Jack is very personable and great to have a conversation with. Since I am a new client, he was sure to take things conservative and adjust as needed rather than cut it all off and hope it wasn't too much like I've had in the past. Just as promised, he did my fade with clippers, then went over the top and sides again with scissors, cleaned up and shaped my beard, washed my hair, did some final detail/cleanup and styled both my beard and hair for me. I'd say $55 for all of that is a pretty reasonable rate and on par with some of the other pricing I found online (unless you're going to a chain). I also appreciate that you can schedule online.I'd highly recommend Jack, and I'll definitely be going back!“
