A friend referred me and I am so grateful she did. Great people working at Agawam Eye Associates. I had a very thorough eye exam, that my insurance paid for. The Dr took his time to make sure the prescription was correct. I have had trouble distance reading with my glasses. The prescription I received is the best I have had in years. I purchased computer glasses and regular glasses. They used a frame I had with me for computer glasses, just put in new lenses. I bought a new frame and lenses for daily wear. They recommended a color frame, and I said no to that. Went back a few days later and exchanged the frames to the color frames they suggested. Lots of complements.... read full review

This is the place for optical work. Peter and his assistant are dedicated to getting it right and educating you on how to keep it right.It took time to adjust my glasses, Peter was patient and got it done.The fees are very reasonable.

I recently moved to the area and was in need of an eye doctor. I found Agawam eye online and they were right around the corner, so I booked an appointment. Today I went in and was examined by Dr. Leader Fortin. What an all around amazing experience! Such a friendly team! They made me feel at ease and helped fit me for contacts. I have had glasses for over 15 years and have seen many optometrists, but Dr. Leader Fortin was by far the best. She really listened to my concerns and was thorough in testing.
