Mike is talented and every time I bring my son here he comes out looking fantastic and feeling great. Sometimes there is a longer wait than we'd planned for and we've had to reschedule or move plans around to make her day work. So now I schedule hair appointments on days when I know there is ample time and I don't have someplace to be for hours because it's worth coming here and my son is always happy.
This was my first time going to Mike's locs and it will NOT be the last. The shop is cozy with an afro centric vibe that is great. There are tvs there to entertain you while you are getting your hair done. I even saw a game system for people to play. Mike has a very friendly and handsome cat named Simba. I will refer to him as the shops "mascot" lol. Mike did an amazing job on my locs. He said he will make my loc size more uniform as well as less frizzy. He did NOT DISAPPOINT. This is the best my hair has looked in a long time. I would definitely recommend getting your locs taken care of there. 3 ?????? ???
