“Words are not enough to convey how incredible Olivia DiBona and her team are. Naturally, nerves were heightened on my wedding day and I was very uptight. Olivia was not just focused on doing my hair and makeup but on distracting me and making me feel at ease. Olivia has a sense of confidence and calmness that will make any of her clients feel reassured. Her team of incredible hair stylists and makeup artists are no different. They all get along with one another and with their clients, no matter the age. On the day of my wedding, Paige, Maggie, and Olivia O. were all outstanding.<br>My bridal party has still not stopped talking about how impressed they were with their hair and makeup. They felt so special on my day and that made me feel so happy. I have Olivia’s team to thank for that.<br>My mom’s hair and makeup were impeccable. My mom is naturally gorgeous but I have never seen her look so stunning in my life. I cannot count how many times people saw pictures and asked if we were sisters.<br>My hair and makeup….wow! I am emotional writing this because as a bride you wish for a fairytale wedding. You dream about yourself and about what your family and friends, and especially future husband, will think of you on the day of the wedding. I have never felt so beautiful and confident in my life than after Olivia did my hair and makeup. I never expected to feel that way about myself, being a harsh critic, and it truly put me to tears when I first looked in the mirror.<br>Olivia didn’t just do my hair and makeup and then leave, like most artists probably would. She stayed to make me a touch up kit, do last minute touch-ups right before I got dressed, and to talk through putting my veil in with my anxious mom. She didn’t once look at the clock or tell me she was there too long. She stayed and took pictures, complimented me and my bridesmaids, and left only when we all felt ready.<br>I could go on and on, but Olivia and her team we exceptional and I could not recommend them enough for weddings or any other special event! I will be referring every single person I know to her.“

“got a hair cut from Brooke and couldn't be happier! Its easily one of the best hair cuts I've ever gotten and I really appreciated how much time she took/what a thorough job she did discussing what I wanted done (I have pretty bad anxiety so that part is often hard for me, but I felt really comfortable and we were able to cover everything). I could also tell she was being very mindful of my hair texture the entire time she was cutting it which is often an issue for me when I get my hair cut (I have wavy hair). It was a great experience and I will definitely be going back!“

I have been going to Ireland Beauty for years for a variety of spa essentials (waxing, facials, haircuts, etc.) and I highly recommend Aisling and the rest of the team! The receptionists are always friendly and there is almost always parking readily available.“

“I came here on a whim when I decided, basically overnight, that I needed a big chop and wanted to find somewhere close by. I was nervous, since I was getting 5+ inches off, but I was pleasantly surprised by Mechi Beauty. Michelle was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Most importantly, she gave me a great haircut! I'm thrilled with my new bob and will be going back to her for trims and future chops.Side note: I chose not to pay for a blow dry since I was just going home and didn't mind having wet hair, but I regret that since I couldn't really appreciate the haircut until my hair fully dried. I recommend getting it dried with Michelle so you can see what it will look like and if it needs adjusting.“

“Working with Lyndsay Simon beauty for my wedding was a great choice. I had Taylor for hair and Eliza for makeup. I was a little nervous going into my trial as I'm not a super hair/makeup girl and wasn't sure what to expect, but I had no reason to fear. They were both so quick to understand my vision and they really encouraged me to give honest feedback and promised I couldn't hurt their feelings. I extra appreciated Eliza going step by step with me when I said I felt like something was missing until we figured it out. I did the trial before my bachelorette which I highly recommend; not only did I look beautiful that night but I also got to confirm my looks lasted through hours of being out and about.<br><br>On the wedding day there were both so timely, polite, and organized. I really appreciated them being calm presences and keeping the mood positive. All my wedding party loved working with them and everyone turned out beautiful. “Jenny and Lauren worked their hair and makeup magic for myself and 7 other ladies (4 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and one little sister) for my July 7 wedding in Boston. Jenny's communication from time of booking through the trial and the day-of was amazing, and I always felt like we were on the same page. I really loved their focus on good hair and skin prep, and emphasis on making sure everyone still felt like themselves - particularly those in the party who were less comfortable with getting their makeup done. Lauren was so gentle with my husband's little sister, who was getting her hair and makeup done for the first time ever. Lauren took the time to explain everything she was doing before it happened and checked in frequently to make sure she was comfortable. My little sister in law went from very nervous to absolutely beaming by the time they were done! Can't thank them both enough for making my wedding morning very chill and comfortable experience! :)“

“After hearing such wonderful things about Alice at Revelation Hair Salon and wanting a huge hair style change. I just knew where I needed to go. Alice was so personable and highly exceeded my expectations of what I wanted with my hair and I could not of been happier. She did such a wonderful job!!“

“I’ve been a client of Stilisti for eight years now. My cuts and color are *consistently* gorgeous. Marisa (the owner) is my primary hairdresser, but I don’t hesitate for a moment to see another stylist (Ana) if the scheduling works out better. Marisa emphasizes training of everyone in the salon and her standards are high! Even the hair washes feel special; Darlyne, in particular, gives an awesome scalp massage. The salon uses Goldwell color, which is my favorite for my blonde hair and they do a beautiful job with dimension (base color with tons of high/low lights and also a really pretty Scandinavian blonde treatment around my hairline). Maybe best of all is that there is zero attitude at this salon, which is so refreshing (especially for Newbury Street). The prices are consistent with other downtown Boston/Back Bay salons (read “not cheap” :)) but 100% worth it, especially when I factor in how well my cuts grow out. If it weren’t for my fast-growing roots at age 48, I could definitively stretch the time between appointments; but - alas - I love how great I feel with consistently great hair, so I am on about an every 8 week schedule. Bottom line: highest marks for Stilisti ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I am not exaggerating when I say Jennifer at Joy Skin Atelier transformed my skin. Both through a combination incredible facials that she customized specifically to my needs, but also for her recommendations on skin care products.I was already spending a small fortune on products, but the products Jennifer recommended for me (all carried by Joy Skin Atelier) have had more dramatic results then anything I've bought myself after hours of research.The only reason I don't want to write this review is I'm afraid it will make getting an appointment harder as more people find out how fantastic Joy Atelier is.
