“Dr. Botello is extremely helpful and caring. She listens and takes the time to understand. She was also really great with my children who also really liked her a lot. Her office manager, Miriam, has always been friendly and helpful as well. Having front staff who is friendly and pleasant really makes a big difference in patient experience. I only took off one star because the frames there are expensive. While that isn't a reflection of Dr. Botello it did make it such that I had to go elsewhere to get my prescription filled, which was just inconvenient.“

“If you need your eyes checked - and who doesn't, I found Neilsen Eye Center in Norwell to be a great place. My former eye doc was just so disrespectful of my time, I wouldn't deal with them any more. I found Neilsen right by South Shore Medical Center on Longwater Drive, and what a pleasant surprise! A welcoming staff member at the front, snacks and beverages in the comfortable waiting area, and from the size of that waiting area I could tell right off that it wouldn't be a crowd scene here. The technician who started my appointment was professional, friendly and answered all questions. That was a thorough eye exam! Dr. Moreira was also very professional pared with a friendly manner that I totally appreciated. No hard sell of any products or procedures, just this is what I see happening with your eyes,this is what you'll need when you're ready, let me know what you want to do and when. There's an optical area in the office, but again, no had sell of eyeglasses- your new script goes out the door when you leave. All in all, I had a great customer service experience and A+++ patient care. Take care of your eyes so you can navigate this world! Nielsen will do that for you easily and reassuringly.“

“I was in town from out of state visiting family. I wear daily lenses and after I threw out the ones I wore for the trip to MA, I realized I forgot to bring my contacts so I was in a pretty big bind. I normally go to a MyEyeDr branch where I live so I figured I'd call this one up to see if they would be able to help me out. This was on a Saturday and they were able to get my prescription and gave me some lenses to get me through the trip. It would have been a pretty miserable trip without them so this was a huge help.“
