Greenlock Therapeutic Riding

We have been bringing our two boys with special needs to Greenlock for just about 5 years. Through every struggle or new journey of finding help they have guided us, loved us, and worked with us in ways that are absolutely life giving to parents of kids with high needs. Even changing days, last minute schedule disruptions, bad days, good days. We have a lot of therapies and we never want to skip hippotherapy. The horses are amazing and they love their work, the staff and volunteers are so great with the kids that I can hardly think of days my kids left not smiling. Highly recommend to any family that has “tried it all”, because it will change your child’s life, and yours.

What is not to like about therapy horses and individual tailored therapy with a trained therapist?

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ I worked with Edith, Kathy, Deryl, Liz, Caroline, and Emily as part of the therapy team over the past half year. They are remarkably knowledgeable and skilled clinicians. The horses in the program are worth their weight in gold. I strongly endorse Greenlock TRC to anyone seeking OT/PT/SLP incorporating equine movement as a treatment strategy.
