“I just had my 2nd appointment at Expressions with Lina, and needed to take the time to write a review because my hair and experience were just that good. I am a city girl that has come to the burbs (love/hate), but finding city quality without having to cross the bridge is my mission, and exressions nails it. SUMMARY:Product wise they are super high end (back bar and for sale) which is a must, but not necessarily hard to find. The second part, which Lina and her co-owner both nail, is continuing education without being in the city, and pairing that with a solid hair background and history so that the trends are achievable but the integrity of your hair is maintained! MY EXPERIENCE: I came to Lina with 12 week grown out roots (I'm a level 5 and have a level 10 color block in the front), and needed a new hairdresser after my regular had a long term injury. She took the project on, but most importantly treated every piece of hair on my head like it was in the front. I had a band from leaving my roots for so long, and during my 2nd appointment she and her co-owner lovingly corrected it, even though Lina had a flight to catch for a familly emergency, they worked together and made my hair absolutely perfect. They also provided honest feedback about a longterm plan for my hair while achieving exactly what I wanted in the meantime. I couldn't be more pleased and I am so happy to have one less errand to run in the city so I can spend time complaining about the suburbs!“

She was friendly and attentive to detail with the perfect salon experience. I got a blow out with a scalp service and immediately booked an appointment to get a hair cut and blow out right before the holiday season! The space at hair passion is very clean and welcoming. All the stylists were so friendly between one another as well! Their prices were very reasonable(especially in the greater Boston area) and honestly worth every penny! They also had complimentary water and snacks in their seating area for clients which is always a plus for when you're having a longer hair treatment done!“

“Curl bar has changed the way I feel about my hair and made my daily routine manageable. I got relaxers starting age 5 for 25 more years. When I got tired of the chemicals, growing my hair out was a tough process. I couldn’t keep up with any routines as a busy surgeon and mom so it was mostly buns and not the cute kind. I started going to curlbar 4 years ago and Taylor gave me a routine I can manage. With 2 hours a week on wash day, I feel great about my curls all week and spend about 2 mins a morning on hair. It survives through workouts and work days in the OR. Also, I love visiting curlbar, it feels relaxing and fun and I love the celebration of beauty. Love curlbar!
