“IDB Electrical did a great job for us installing wiring to new electric pumps for a new gas boiler heating system. To help us save energy, we divided our house into four heating zones and IDB installed new thermostats and the wiring through the walls running all the way from the basement to the finished attic on the third floor. “I put in a call to Frank O'reilly and he returned my call later that day. I told him what I thought the problem was - faulty circuit breaker - and he asked me to text him some photos of the circuit breaker and the outlet it was for. He had me do a few other minor tasks as he tried to assess what the problem was. He said he would come out the next morning and he did. He was able to quickly assess what the real problem was - an old outlet box - and he was able to fix it in a short time. He was also a very friendly person and was enjoyable to talk with while he solved the problem. “Matt is fantastic! Recently purchased an older home and needed some electrical upgrades. For the first job, Matt installed the wiring for a Nest thermostat and turned our outside receptacles into GFCI certified ones. Price was very reasonable. Second job was installing a new ceiling light upstairs. He said the old wiring in the ceiling and the switches was something he had never seen in his 25 years of electrical work!
