The owner, a friendly expert in suit alterations, charges $60 for hemming pants and shortening jacket sleeves, with a one-week turnaround. Alternatively, dry cleaning the suit set costs $17 and takes three days.
TLDR; The seamstress work is nothing short of a masterpiece. OH MY GOODNESS, I couldn't have possibly found a more incredible seamstress. I cannot believe how absolutely perfect the hemming of my charmeuse silk OVER 60 YEARS OLD dress turned out. I also needed it in 2 days. She managed to not only meet this deadline but exceed all expectations. She fixed my dress so I can wear it for a very long time. The sewing is absolutely perfect. The dress was in a delicate state, with parts that were on the verge of deterioration. Honestly, I was concerned about the strain on the aged zipper and the overall fit. Incredibly, she even reinforced those delicate areas, something I wouldn't have dreamt of asking for given the short timeframe. Her dedication and expertise goes beyond the ordinary. I am completely taken aback by the transformation of my dress. It has now become my favorite piece in my wardrobe. Immense gratitude goes to the talented seamstress at One Price for her exceptional craftsmanship. Her work is nothing short of a masterpiece, and I am beyond thankful for the outstanding effort she put into revitalizing my dress.
This is a small dry cleaning and tailoring shop that I found via a Yelp search. I brought a winter coat here recently and the price was in line with other cleaners. It came back in beautiful condition, so I was satisfied there. The shop is owned by a very nice lady who also appears to be well-known for her tailoring skills, if other reviews and steady business when I stopped by was any indication. I haven't tried getting alterations done here yet, but now I know where to turn to get some of my old, nice suits redone. Thanks Yelpers for a solid, local, independent find!
