I showed Queenie a picture of the style I wanted, and got exactly that.I asked for her to dye my hair a reddish violet color, instead of vibrant purple (like my example pic) and she delivered.

I didn't have my hair cut for a long time so it was very long and unmanageble. I walked in and walked out with a beautiful cut and my hair is soft and healthy looking. He did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable.

Most salons are not walk in, but Jay's is! I really wanted to impulsively cut my hair and if I had to book an appointment, i would have probably cancelled it. And! I would miss out on my cool haircut!! Though if you want to get your hair dyed, you would need an appointment because of how long it takes. There was a little wait, around 1:40-2:00pm on a Wednesday. The rush seemed to go away around 3, so that would be a perfect time to walk in. But I would just call just in case, they call back if they miss your call. Really happy with my cut today! I got my hair washed by Queenie and it was very relaxing. Queenie cut my bangs & Jay cut my hair in layers. I love it so much!...read full review
