“My dad had a driving license in China but wanted to get one in Mass. He recently took a few lessons with David and successfully passed the road test yesterday. David was so patient and friendly. He taught him lots of rules and what the test would be. He gave him a mock exam and pointed out many things he needed to pay special attention to. There were a lot of things and were really helpful for the test and the actual driving as well. David helped with translation during the road test as well. I would highly recommend David and the driving school, especially for people who need Chinese translations.“

“We live on Martha's Vineyard where road test slots are notoriously hard to come by, and there's only one auto school in town. Not only did we have to book a road test on the mainland, but we also needed a car due to the fact that our own vehicle does not have the emergency break within reach of the examinator (its on the left side of our steering wheel, so not suitable to use for the road test). Each time we found an available road test at numerous RMVs, we had to contact a driving school to see if they had a car available for that time slot but by the time they returned our call, the RMV slot was taken. Drivers Edge Academy was the only school willing to go to the process with us, staying on the phone comparing the RMV availability with their driving schedule. We eventually settled on an 8am road test.My daughter was unfamiliar with the area just before her road test, and David not only took the time to work with her but also managed to calm her nerves. He met with my daughter at 7 am on the day of the roadtest. What's even more impressive is that he spent an exceptional amount of time on the phone with us the day before the test, going over every detail and expectation in thorough detail.David's accommodating, kind, and supportive demeanor truly made a world of difference for my daughter. He acted as an exceptional proctor for the road test, providing the guidance and reassurance she needed to succeed.If you're looking for a driving school that goes above and beyond, Drivers Edge Academy and David are the way to go. “Needed to do some refresher lessons after living in Boston for a while after moving from outside the US. Heman was a great instructor. Calm, encouraging, easy going. It could've been easier for me since I wasn't starting from scratch. But the whole process was fairly easy. $60/hour lessons and $160 for the test, which you did on a weekend instead of going through the RMV chaos in the week.“
