The West End Grill offers a maritime-inspired atmosphere with excellent cocktails and frozen drinks, including the popular P-town lemonade. The prix fixe menu features tasty options like a flavorful burger, delicious chicken rosemary, and decadent desserts such as mango cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. While the decor may be a bit outdated, the generous portions and friendly service make it a worthwhile dining experience.
We stopped in for appetizers, drinks and clam chowder. Our group ordered all of the appetizers from the sea side. All of them were very good but the shrimp was my favorite, it is spicy, FYI. The clam chowder is one of the best chowders that I've had. It was warm/hot in the restaurant but maybe the air conditioner was out?
Our waiter was on point and was attentive.
My husband and I were here in mid-June 2024, staying at the Provincetown Inn. We were early, so it wasn't busy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We shared a Clam Chowder soup to start. It was very tasty! I had the Striploin steak served with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Onion Rings and a steak sauce. My husband had Fish and Chips with Coleslaw and Tartar sauce. We shared a dessert, a Blueberry Crisp with Ice Cream. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals!
We ordered dinner to go at the restaurant site. It did take some time to get the order but worth the wait.We had the fish and chips dinner with chowder and bread pudding. The portions were large and fortunately we only ordered one dinner. We really enjoyed this dinner.The only drawback is the place is kind of dark and outdated. Would definitely get dinner here again.
